Rebecca's brows furrowed as she took in the muscular men. She even felt Lydia stiffen beside her, and her eyes narrowed.
"Rebecca, I don't want to hurt you. It's best if you stay away from this." Jackson uttered with a strong conviction.
Rebecca laughed mirthlessly.
"I'm taking her with me." She said firmly. "If anyone tries to stop me—" her taunting gaze flickered to the men, "—I'd like to see you try."
Jackson's jaw clenched.
"Don't let them leave," he instructed with a heavy tone.
Elaine watched everything unfold, half-excited, half-worried. She had always found Rebecca to be an eyesore. She'd give everything to see her in pain, but she was still self-aware even if it hurt her.
"Jack," she had already moved closer to him to whisper into his ears. "Is this right? Rebecca is after all Anderson's wife. If she is hurt, I'm afraid..."
She allowed her words to trail off.
Jackson's gaze darkened. He understood the implications behind Elaine's words.
