~Gianna's POV
I looked at Matteo for a moment, then at the stuffed toys in my arms, and I honestly could not tell when the day had turned into something that felt this long. My legs were a little tired, my voice was slightly rough from laughing and screaming all through the games, but my mood was still light in a way I did not want to lose yet.
"Okay," I muttered again, more to myself than to him, and he just smiled like that answer was enough.
We left the game area slowly after that, walking through the park as the lights started to feel softer and fewer people were around. The noise was still there, but it was not as loud as before, and I remember thinking that the world always feels different when the night starts getting serious.
Matteo walked beside me without rushing me, and I liked that more than I expected to. There was something calm about it, like we did not need to talk every second just to make the moment real.
