Chapter 2 - Prologue: Peak of Eternal Desires (II)

Until the day Lustarion finally lost patience.

"My son," the God of Lust and Love said one evening, his usual playful tone now carrying a dangerous, cunning edge, "you have tested my patience long enough with your stubborn sermons."

A sly smile curved his lips. With a flick of his finger, he summoned Eva, the most breathtaking maiden goddess from the neighboring Moonlit Reverie Peak.

She appeared in a swirl of silver moonlight.

Eva was devastating. Her eyes shone like deep sapphire oceans under a star-filled sky. Midnight-blue hair cascaded down her back in silky waves, and her lips, full and naturally pinkish-red, curved in an inviting, almost shy smile. A delicate crown of glowing silver stars rested upon her head, marking her royal status. Her skin glowed like fresh snow kissed by moonlight, and the gossamer gown of swirling mist she wore clung to every lush curve of her body, full breasts, narrow waist, and gently swaying hips, leaving just enough to the imagination to drive any being mad with want.

Lustarion leaned close and whispered into her ear with a wink, his breath warm against her skin. "Go to my son, little moonflower. Show him the true sweetness of desire. Teach him that love and lust are not enemies… they are twins born from the same divine flame."

Eva approached the prince in the Garden of Whispering Roses, where spirit flowers bloomed only when lovers exchanged secret longings.

At first, she spoke gently, her voice like a soft breeze carrying tales of distant constellations and shared eternal dreams. To the Pure One's own shock, his cold heart stirred. For the first time in his existence, he felt something deeper than mere duty or ideology. He fell genuinely in love with her grace, her quiet intelligence, and the purity he saw reflected in her eyes.

They spent days walking hand in hand through the glowing gardens, speaking of soul bonds that could transcend even the collapse of the heavens. He cherished every moment.

But whenever Eva leaned closer, her soft breasts brushing against his arm, her warm breath tickling his neck, her lips grazing his cheek in a trembling invitation, the prince would gently pull away, eyes filled with both tenderness and unyielding resolve.

"No, my dear Eva," he would say, voice firm yet soft, "our love is already perfect. Pure and untainted by base desires. I will cherish you with every fiber of my soul… without staining it with the weakness of flesh."

Eva's heart shattered.

Tears like liquid starlight filled her sapphire eyes when she returned to Lustarion's throne. Her voice trembled with frustration and pain. "He says he loves me… yet he refuses to truly embrace me! He calls my body shameful, my lord. What kind of man claims to love a woman while denying the very fire that makes love alive?"

Lustarion's laughter rang out across the entire peak, rich and booming. Yet his ember eyes narrowed with cunning resolve.

He summoned his son before the grand throne, where the entire court, gods, goddesses, and spirits, had gathered to witness the spectacle.

"Enough!" Lustarion's voice thundered, mixing humor with genuine irritation. "You dare challenge me, again and again? You call lust a sin? Very well. I shall give you a trial worthy of your arrogance."

The God of Lust and Love raised his hand, golden qi swirling like flames around his fingers.

"I curse your soul to reincarnate as a mortal in the lower human realms, not once, but nine full lifetimes. You will live, suffer, love, and bleed as they do. You will face every temptation of flesh and heart. If you can remain completely uncorrupted, pure of body and virgin of flesh, through all nine lives, I will grant your wish. Love and lust shall be forever severed. You will ascend as the God of Pure Love, ruling over chastity and spiritual bonds as you preach… while I keep dominion over lust's wild, glorious flames."

Gasps rippled through the court. His brothers grinned wickedly. "He'll break before the first life ends, probably the moment some mortal girl spreads her legs!"

His sisters covered their mouths, giggling. "Poor fool… humans burn hotter than any immortal."

Lustarion's grin turned positively devilish. "But hear this clearly, my son, if you fail… if lust claims you even once across those nine lives… then you shall be forced into a tenth reincarnation. Not as a man, but as the very symbol of what you despise. A being born only to indulge, to drown in the endless desire with no escape."

The Pure One stood tall amid the mocking whispers, his eyes blazing with unshakeable determination. His fists trembled, not from fear, but from righteous fire.

"I accept your challenge, Father," he declared, voice ringing like a sword drawn from its sheath. "I will prove that true love stands alone, untouched, untainted. Nine mortal lives? I will conquer every single one!"

Lustarion waved his hand.

A vortex of crimson and golden qi erupted, ripping the prince's divine soul from his immortal body. The Peak of Eternal Desires, with all its pleasures and mocking laughter, blurred and vanished as the Pure One's consciousness tumbled violently through the Wheel of Samsara, plunging deep into the chaotic, qi-starved mortal world below.

The gods' game had begun.

And somewhere in the vast tapestry of fate, ancient forgotten entities stirred in their tombs, sensing that a soul carrying both purity and suppressed hunger had just entered the board.

Little did the Pure One know… the true trials would be far bloodier, far more tempting, and far more merciless than even his father could have foreseen.
