In an instant, Jean Stardust took a defensive stance, but the girl before her still showed no hostility.
"Where did you find out about me?"
"Your heroic figure has been broadcast on rotation recently; I'm afraid there isn't a person in this entire city who doesn't recognize you now."
"!!!" She hadn't expected the girl before her to actually be from the Reincarnation Space.
"I didn't expect there to be a live broadcast either when I first started; it gave me quite a shock when I came out."
Surprised that Jean Stardust would say that, the girl paused to give her a deep look before continuing to wrap the chocolates.
"So, why are you in the Type-Moon World? Recent external trials in the Reincarnation Space haven't been related to the Nasuverse, and the Grand Prix shouldn't be here either."
"I have a commission to find something here," Jean Stardust replied.
"The Holy Grail? Or perhaps the Third Magic? The blueprints for the Jewel Sword? In any case, that's about all there is in the Fuyuki Holy Grail War."
"Something like that. And you? If someone of your extraordinary caliber were in the Fifth War, there would be no need to even fight." While asking, Jean Stardust made sure to flatter the girl a little.
"I'm here to find someone. Don't worry, although I've taken the place of the Berserker, the Holy Grail has nothing to do with me." It was clear the girl was quite happy.
"Do you need any help? I'm quite good at scouting."
"No, that won't be necessary. I've already found her, I just haven't prepared myself yet."
The girl appeared somewhat hesitant; it seemed that not being prepared referred to her mental state.
Watching her wrap the chocolates, Jean Stardust suddenly remembered that she had brought quite a few snacks with her, so she pulled out a wrapped red bean daifuku and handed it to her.
"Want to eat this?"
"Nikoan's daifuku!"
After taking the daifuku, the girl quickly inspected it using some unknown method, then tore open the packaging and put it in her mouth.
"Mmm, this is the flavor. It's absolutely wonderful! Jean, you really are a good person."
She had unexpectedly received a 'good person' card.
"By the way, what should I call you?"
"According to your customs, you should call me BX, but I don't like that. Let's see… I'll specially allow you to call me Ai-chan."
"Are you sure, Ai-chan? Here, take all of these." Jean Stardust casually handed over all the other wagashi she had on her.
"Hmm, you really are a great person."
The 'good person' card had been upgraded.
Because Ai-chan was still working and there were other customers waiting nearby, Jean Stardust took the opportunity to say goodbye and returned to Tohsaka Rin's side.
"Who was that?" Tohsaka Rin asked curiously.
"Berserker."
"What! Berserker is actually working a part-time job selling chocolates!" It seemed her worldview had been shaken.
Jean Stardust hadn't even told her yet that she was also a Sith warrior.
"People are always full of surprises, but the good news is that she likely won't be our enemy."
"Why?"
"Because if she were serious about obtaining the Holy Grail, the Holy Grail War might have already ended by now."
Jean Stardust silently cast an appraisal on herself:
[Target Evaluation] Name: Jean Stardust. Race: Original (Evil) God. Rank: Berserker - Lower Rank (Mid-Tier). Description: Lecherous Person.
It was a concise, super concise evaluation of less than 20 words. The 'Description: Lecherous Person' was particularly difficult to comment on, but judging from the ranking, even if she fully mastered all the power contained within her body, she would only reach the Berserker Mid-Tier.
Perhaps if they really fought, she would have the strength for a battle, but avoiding it would be for the best.
However, even though she said that, in Jean Stardust's heart, all of Fuyuki was currently like being in the center of a typhoon. Although it looked calm and peaceful, as time passed, a storm would soon brew.
Tohsaka Rin fell into silence. Too many things that she couldn't comprehend had happened this night, and her brain was currently experiencing a slight system crash.
--- The harvest for the night had been quite substantial: confirming the true identities of two Servants, severely wounding Lancer, and establishing a bit of friendship with Berserker.
Taking her master, who was lost in confusion due to the overwhelming shock, Jean Stardust returned to the Tohsaka residence.
At this time, Tohsaka Rin had recovered some of her spirit and began to study the alliance with Matou Sakura.
Only then did she discover that she didn't actually have her sister's phone number.
"Ahhh! How can I be such a failure of an older sister! I could have gotten along with her so much earlier, but I had to obsess over things like the Tohsaka Family and the Matou Family. I'm such a big idiot!"
"To be fair, that's true," Jean Stardust said, speaking coolly from the sidelines. "Your sister is much more proactive than you are."
Withdrawing the wind that had swept the entire house, Jean Stardust, right in front of Tohsaka Rin, dug out dozens of cameras and microphones from the room.
"Th-this, what is this?"
"These? These are your sister's love."
She then spoke into a microphone that still retained the exact same shadow aura as Matou Sakura:
"Can you hear me? Your sister wants to talk to you."
Within a few seconds, the phone rang. Jean Stardust picked it up to listen, and an angry voice came from the other end:
"Give the phone to my sister!"
"Alright, alright, you call the shots." She then handed the receiver to Tohsaka Rin: "It's from your dear sister."
Tohsaka Rin tremblingly picked up the phone: "Hello, is that Sakura?"
"That's right, Elder Sister."
"Um, I wanted to…"
"An alliance, right? No problem."
Watching her master, who was at a loss due to excessive shock, Jean Stardust sighed and patted her on the shoulder, simultaneously activating a spell for calming down.
The spell, driven entirely by spiritual power, was very effective for mental states. Within a few seconds, Tohsaka Rin regained her normal train of thought.
"Sakura, I'm sorry for losing my composure just now. Let's find a place to meet tomorrow during the day. We should also have a good talk about these devices."
"Tsk, no problem, Elder Sister. We really should have an honest and open discussion. Let's set it for tomorrow at noon at the Ahnenerbe Cafe. That's all, good night."
The phone was then hung up.
"So, what should we do with these devices?"
"Destroy them!"
Then, accompanied by a whirlwind, all these devices were reduced to fragments.
"What on earth happened to make Sakura turn out like this?" Tohsaka Rin looked conflicted.
"Isn't it just her nature? Besides, for you two, as Magicians, to still be able to care about familial affection is already quite remarkable, even if this affection is expressed a bit twistedly."
Jean Stardust comforted Tohsaka Rin a little. Usually, when this kind of situation occurred among Magicians, they would have already started killing each other, but for them to still be thinking about protecting one another was truly rare.
"Jean Stardust, thank you so much for today. Only now do I realize that I am far less strong than I imagined. Thank you."
Jean Stardust didn't answer, but continued to rub her head with her hand.
