Chapter 1 - 1

After the Tournament of Power, silence slowly replaced the chaos that once shook existence itself. The warriors of Dragon Ball Universe 6 were returning home, their bodies exhausted but their spirits burning brighter than ever. Among them were Caulifla and Cabba, flying side by side through the skies of Planet Sadala. The air felt lighter now, peaceful, yet both of them knew that the tournament had changed everything. They had seen power beyond imagination, warriors who broke limits like they meant nothing, and a glimpse of what they themselves could become.

Caulifla stretched her arms lazily while flying, a confident grin on her face as she said that she still wanted to fight more and that the tournament ending so soon felt annoying to her. Cabba chuckled softly, telling her that they should focus on getting stronger properly now, not just chasing fights recklessly. She rolled her eyes but did not deny it, because deep inside she felt it too, that hunger to surpass her current limits.

Just as they were about to descend toward the Saiyan capital, the sky above them twisted unnaturally. It was not Ki, not energy they could sense, but something entirely different, something that made even their instincts react. A crack formed in space itself, glowing with an unstable green light that pulsed like a heartbeat. Both Saiyans instantly stopped mid-air, their expressions turning serious.

Before either of them could react, something shot out of the rift at incredible speed and slammed into the ground below with a loud explosion. Dust and debris rose into the air, shaking the surrounding land. Caulifla's eyes lit up with excitement as she immediately rushed downward, Cabba following closely behind her, more cautious.

When the dust settled, they saw a crater, and at its center lay an unfamiliar boy wearing strange clothes, his body still and his breathing shallow. On his wrist was a damaged device, cracked and flickering faintly with green light. It was Ben Tennyson.

Caulifla landed first, stepping closer with curiosity rather than concern, saying that he did not look strong at all and wondering how someone like him fell from the sky like that. Cabba knelt down beside Ben, checking if he was alive, and confirmed that he was still breathing. As if responding to their presence, Ben suddenly groaned and slowly opened his eyes, his vision blurry as he tried to process where he was.

His first instinct was to look at his wrist. The Omnitrix was damaged, its usual glow replaced by unstable flickers. Panic rose instantly as he tapped it repeatedly, calling out for it to respond, but nothing happened. His voice carried frustration and disbelief as he muttered that it could not be broken now of all times.

Caulifla crossed her arms and smirked, asking him where he came from and why he seemed so weak. Ben looked up at her and then at Cabba, noticing their unusual attire and the overwhelming energy they unconsciously emitted. Even without the Omnitrix, he could feel it, these two were on a completely different level than anything he had faced before.

Cabba introduced himself calmly and explained that they were Saiyans from Planet Sadala. The word Saiyan echoed in Ben's mind, and something clicked instantly. He had heard enough about powerful warrior races across universes to understand one thing, if these two were anything to go by, then this world was dangerous beyond imagination.

At that moment, the Omnitrix flickered again, projecting a broken interface. A distorted system message appeared, warning of critical failure and stating that only one DNA scan remained available. Ben froze completely as he read it. One scan meant one transformation, and after that, nothing. No switching, no fallback, no safety net.

For the first time in a long while, Ben Tennyson felt true pressure.

Caulifla grinned wider, clearly interested now, and told him to use whatever power he had so they could see if he was worth anything. Cabba tried to stop her, saying they should not push someone who was clearly injured, but she ignored him completely.

Ben slowly stood up, his eyes shifting between the two Saiyans and the damaged Omnitrix. His mind raced, calculating, thinking about survival in a world where even the air seemed filled with power. If he wasted this last scan, he would be nothing more than a normal human in a place where normal humans did not survive.

Then he looked at them again, really looked this time, and made his decision.

If he had only one chance, then he would choose the strongest option available.

He raised his wrist slowly as the Omnitrix began to glow weakly, struggling to function. The green light flickered violently, scanning, analyzing, locking onto a target.

Saiyan DNA.

Ben's expression hardened as a small, confident smile formed despite the situation. If this world ran on power, then he would adapt to it in the most direct way possible.

The light intensified, unstable yet determined, as the Omnitrix prepared to execute its final function.

And in that moment, the fate of Ben Tennyson in Universe 6 was decided.
