Chapter 3: The Break
Love is beautiful.
But it is not always enough.
Ritu came from a struggling family. Her dreams were heavy, her responsibilities heavier. Jimin, on the other hand, lived in a world full of comfort, expectations, and a future already planned for him.
One evening, everything changed.
"My parents don't approve," Jimin said, his voice trembling. "They want me to go abroad… and they don't think—"
"That I'm good enough?" Ritu finished, her voice breaking.
"It's not like that—"
"But it is."
Silence fell between them like a storm.
"I can't fight them," he whispered.
Ritu smiled through her tears, the kind of smile that hides a thousand heartbreaks.
"Then don't."
And just like that… they let go.
