Chapter 9 - The Herrscher of Reason

Senju Tobirama: "Based on current intelligence, she can indeed copy the Uchiha's Sharingan. The reason she appears stronger than the original owners is because the Mangekyo Sharingan possesses limited Eye Power; excessive use leads to blindness. Therefore, true Uchiha are extremely frugal with their pupils' potency. However, Uchiha Hoshi's Mangekyo are copies—she has absolutely no need to worry about going blind."

Orochimaru: "I see. So the Uchiha clan's Sharingan actually has such a side effect. My thanks to the Second Hokage for enlightening us."

Onoki: "That still doesn't explain everything about this Uchiha Hoshi. Isn't she just an Adopted Daughter? Could 'copying the Sharingan' be the specific Mangekyo Dojutsu she awakened? After all, her pupils have turned gold; no matter how you look at it, it seems like a specialized Dojutsu."

At Onoki's remark, everyone noticed that Hoshi's golden eyes were more than just a simple color swap. In the center of the golden iris sat a diamond-shaped pattern, and along its edges, a gear-like sigil slowly rotated.

According to the laws of the Ninja World, the weirder the eye, the stronger the ability. With eyes this strange, she definitely possessed a unique power—likely related to her ability to copy the Sharingan!

Orochimaru: "By the way... has no one thought to just ask her directly?"

The problem was, anyone with half a brain knew better than to reveal their full capabilities. Moreover, it was obvious Hoshi's mental state was currently unstable. No one dared to address her; what if she remembered their name and tracked them down through the Sky Screen? Dying was one thing, but bringing disaster to one's entire village was a sin too great to bear.

Uchiha Obito watched the screen in silence. He had assumed the Dojutsu he took such pride in belonged only to his eye; he thought Kakashi's was just a standard Three-Tomoe Sharingan. He hadn't expected it to be a Mangekyo as well, and seemingly the same technique as his own—just with a different focus.

More importantly, an outsider had mastered his other eye. This was unacceptable! Heaven only knew how much trash Uchiha Hoshi would dump into his Kamui Dimension now that she had access to it.

Wait... trash?

A bolt of realization struck Obito. He stopped focusing on Real Space and dove headfirst into his Kamui Dimension. There, as expected, he found the severed half of a Honkai Beast's limb that Kakashi had warped away.

Of course, it would have been better if that green-jumpsuit-wearing freak wasn't in there too.

[With Might Guy warped away by Kamui, the Konoha ninjas fell into total despair. Watching the fleeing shinobi, Uchiha Hoshi knew that with her current abilities, killing every last one of them would be difficult. These people were mediocre at everything except running away.

But that didn't mean she would let them off easily. Hoshi's eyes were cold and detached. To her, there was nothing left of Konoha worth cherishing.

"I hate the Uchiha. You are arrogant, stubborn, and bigoted—living only in your own worlds, never caring for the perspectives of others."

"I hate Konoha. You are ignorant, greedy, and hypocritical. When the avalanche occurs, not a single snowflake is innocent. Konoha is the breeding ground for all evil."

"I hate Ninjas. You are bloody, hideous, and selfish. You bully the weak in the name of justice and incite war in the name of peace."

"Since you desire destruction, then destruction I shall grant you!"

"Because I... am the Honkai!"

Accompanied by Hoshino Hitomi's cold voice, her Companion Honkai Beast slowly raised its head. Terrifying Honkai Energy converged in its maw. As it tilted its head further back, the energy contained within grew more monstrous.

Then, it spat out an attack resembling a Tailed Beast Bomb, which soared high into the clouds.

Under the dim moonlight, everyone watched the sky. They waited for the blow to fall. It wasn't that they wanted to stand still and die, but in a situation where the impact point was unknown, running blindly was often fatal.

They didn't have to wait long. With a burst of purple flame, countless meteors shattered the clouds and plummeted from the heavens!

In an instant, a barrage of meteor-like strikes rained down upon Konoha. One by one, the houses, the Ninja Clan estates, the Academy, the hospital, and the administrative center—the Hokage Building—were reduced to ash!

The entirety of Konoha was swallowed by fire, as if the world itself had turned into a sea of flames.

But Hoshi's assault didn't stop. Her Companion Honkai Beast opened its mouth again, gestating even more horrific energy. A beam of light erupted from its throat, and as the beast swept its head, the beam cut a fan-shaped path through the terrain.

A massive swath of land before Hoshi was wiped clean. By pure "coincidence," the Hokage Rock was within the sweep. Thus, the final landmark of Konoha vanished. At the same time, not a single annoying ninja remained standing before her eyes.]

At this moment, even the Sky Screen remained blank for several seconds. Everyone was shocked by the destructive power of this beast—it likely surpassed even the Tailed Beasts. Even Minato, who styled himself as a God, fell into silence.

Shimura Danzo: "Damnable, naturally evil brat! Who exactly are you?!"

Seeing Konoha completely vanish before his eyes, Shimura Danzo reacted even more violently than the Third. He, who dreamed of becoming Hokage, couldn't keep his cool. If Konoha was gone, how could he ever be Hokage?

Herrscher of Reason: "Me?"

For the first time, Uchiha Hoshi's words appeared on the Sky Screen—right in the dead center. She looked up at the sky, and everyone in the Ninja World looked down at this person who had just annihilated Konoha.

Herrscher of Reason: "I am a Herrscher. God granted me the scriptures to master the arts of war, to strategize within the depths of the mind. I am the King of Logic and Law."

Herrscher of Reason: "I am... the Herrscher of Reason!"

At that moment, countless people etched that name into their hearts. Beneath the Konoha Ruins, it was clearly the masses of the Ninja World looking down upon Uchiha Hoshi, yet in that instant, everyone felt the opposite—that it was she who was looking down upon them.

Those who realized this felt a chill run down their spines. Facing this so-called Herrscher of Reason, why had they instinctively lowered their posture?

How is that possible?!
