Chapter 10 - Chapter 119 Euron's Plan

While Shanks was still fleeing back to the north entrance of Ox Horn Mountain, Ironborn, who had been chasing him, had already returned to Euron's side.

" Lord Euron, one has escaped."

"That guy runs faster than a rabbit, we just couldn't catch him!"

The leader of the five explained, "We were afraid it would be dangerous to continue chasing them, so we came back."

Euron's mood instantly soured.

He gripped his sword, his eyes fixed on the five returning men with a sinister glint in them, a hint of murderous intent even appearing on his face.

The five noticed Euron's expression and their bodies trembled involuntarily.

Clearly, they underestimated Euron's brutality.

" Lord Euron, I..."

The leader was about to explain when a flash of cold light appeared before his eyes, and Euron slit his throat with a single sword strike.

Swelling—

The house collapsed to the ground.

The other four felt a chill run down their spines and instinctively wanted to run, but then they heard Euron's cold voice.

"If there's a next time, you'll all die!"

"Now, get out of here!"

The four men breathed a sigh of relief and quickly led their horses away.

Euron was in a terrible mood and kicked the corpse at his feet angrily.

"Phew, one got away!"

"A bunch of useless trash, they can't even catch one person."

His tone was tinged with dissatisfaction, and his normal eye gleamed with a cold light in the torchlight.

"We can't go any further."

"Since Glover's cavalry were able to get here, it means he has also reached Ox Horn Mountain!"

"With the scout's report, he will definitely be on high alert!"

"Heh, as expected of my destined opponent, you're so fast!"

His low laughter echoed in the night wind, but his gaze was fixed on the north, a sense of regret rising in his heart.

The essence of a night raid lies in secrecy and surprise.

Now that their whereabouts have been completely exposed, the escaped scout will surely bring the alarm back to the nest like a startled rabbit.

Euron knew that the northern army must have been alerted and was on high alert.

If they were to launch another night raid, it would be tantamount to walking into a trap; "what a waste of a good show."

He shook his hand, and the amused, unsettling smile returned to his face.

"But it's good, letting the prey suffer in fear for one more night might make it taste even better."

Without further hesitation, he ordered, "Clean it up, then we're going back."

Before leaving.

Euron glanced again in the direction of the north entrance to Ox Horn Mountain, a burning impulse and desire rising within him for no apparent reason.

"Wait a little longer, wait a little longer!"

"I will take everything from you sooner or later. I will make you see yourself utterly defeated and lose everything!"

" Bear Slayer!"

Euron forced himself to suppress his emotions and then led his team back to the main camp at the southern entrance of Ox Horn Mountain.

On their way back, without needing to hide any traces, Euron and his group moved very quickly.

In just two or three hours, they arrived at Victarion's base camp.

At the southern entrance of Ox Horn Mountain, near East Horn Mountain, a messy campsite has been built.

The captured northern farmers were mutely building fortifications and preparing food in the camp.

Some attractive women carried bottles of liquor into the huge tent in the center of the camp.

Loud shouts and the clinking of glasses occasionally erupted from inside.

Euron frowned, walked straight past the prisoners, lifted the tent flap, and entered, interrupting the commotion inside.

As soon as he entered the tent, his cold right eye swept across the entire area.

The sounds of drinking and merriment that had been filling the air gradually vanished without a trace.

Euron looked up at Victarion, who was seated at the head of the table, and said in a deep voice, "The plan has changed, Victarion!"

Euron, who had originally said he was going to scout and launch a night raid, reappeared in the tent, catching all the Ironborn captains present off guard. Victarion put down his wine bowl and asked gruffly, "What happened? Why are you back so soon?"

But as soon as he said it, he realized what he had said and continued to press for an answer.

"Have the wolf cubs arrived yet?"

Euron nodded, walked to the wooden table in the tent, picked up a bottle of wine, and took a sip.

"Ha Yi"

He exhaled a breath of cold air and said in a low voice.

"We encountered several wolfhounds with a keen sense of smell. Although we killed most of them, one of them managed to escape and deliver the message."

"Their men have probably already arrived at Beikou, and are probably huddled together waiting for us."

The people inside the tent fell silent.

Victarion immediately got up, walked to Euron's side, spread out the map on the table, and carefully examined the location of the north entrance to Ox Horn Mountain.

He mentally estimated the distance between himself and the enemy.

A moment later.

"Perfect timing!" he slammed his hand on the table. "My axe has been itching for a fight!"

"Tomorrow, the army will march straight to Beikou, and I will crush these wolf cubs in one fell swoop!"

"Rob their castles, and rape their women!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the captains under Victarion cheered excitedly.

"Rob the castle, and steal the women!"

"Rob the castle, and steal all the women!!"

Euron, however, looked on with disdain as he coldly observed the agitated Ironborn.

After the wave of sound subsided slightly, he pointed at the map with his finger and questioned it.

"This is your battle plan?"

Before Victarion could react, Euron chuckled and said...

"Our opponent— Glover —is no ordinary man!"

He paused, looked around at everyone, and warned them word by word.

" Asha's army was routed by him, yet his troops suffered very few losses."

"Then they rushed to Winterfell's aid at an astonishing speed, ruining my operation!"

"If you underestimate him, you will inevitably pay a terrible price!"

Euron's words were like a bucket of cold water poured over everyone's heads, causing the military tent to fall silent once again.

All eyes turned to the tall Victarion.

Victarion stared at his brother and said coldly, " Euron, are you saying I can't even beat that Giant Bear Slayer?"

Euron's eyes darted around, and he shook his head slightly.

"I'm just reminding you, Glover isn't some reckless brute who charges into battle with sheer courage!"

"We must be extra careful when dealing with him!"

Victarion calmed down and realized that Euron was the most intelligent of his four brothers, so he asked him about it.

"So what do you mean we should do?"

Euron had already prepared a plan for this.

His fingernails traced the West Horn Mountain, the deep sound like a blizzard sweeping through a military tent.

"Tomorrow, you will lead the main force and my crew in a high-profile advance along Kings Road towards the northern entrance, drawing all the attention of the North to you."

Then, his finger slyly moved toward the slope on the side of West Horn Mountain.

"And I will lead a group of men on northern horses, sneaking up from here on the southern slopes of West Horn Mountain."

"When your two armies are locked in a fierce battle on the front lines, and everyone's eyes are fixed on Kings Road, I will strike from the flank... like a cold dagger, plunging it into their hearts!"

He looked at Victarion, his eyes gleaming with madness and confidence.

"A strong frontal assault draws the enemy's attention, while a surprise attack from the flank decides the victory."

"How is it, Victarion?"

Victarion pondered for a moment. Although he felt that Euron's plan was somewhat risky, it did sound more effective than a simple attack.

"Okay, we'll do it your way!"

"I'll crush them head-on, and you'll deliver their final blow from the side!"

With Victarion making his decision, the atmosphere in the military tent heated up once again.

Meanwhile, Galon at the northern entrance of Ox Horn Mountain also received intelligence from Shanks.
