Morning light filtered softly through the curtains. Stan stirred first, the warm weight of Maya and Sophie still pressed against him on either side. For a moment he simply lay there, savoring the soft press of their bare skin, the gentle rise and fall of their breathing. Then his senses stretched outward, quiet, precise.
Camilla was gone. Not in the room. Not elsewhere in the house. Not even lingering somewhere outside within his range. She had not returned at any point during the night.
Stan exhaled slowly through his nose, a quiet sigh. 'How long does she plan to stay like this…'
Before the thought could settle too deeply, Maya shifted against his side. Her lashes fluttered, and a soft, contented sound escaped her as she nuzzled closer, her full breast brushing warm against his ribs.
A moment later Sophie stirred as well, stretching languidly before tucking herself more firmly against him, one leg sliding over his thigh.
