Stan was done eating and was about to leave but Sarah reached out quickly and caught his wrist before he could fully stand, her fingers trembling slightly with nervousness and need.
Stan paused, confused. "Sarah?"
She rose onto her tiptoes, resting one slender arm on his broad shoulder, and pulled him into a deep kiss. It started soft, her lips warm, hesitant, and incredibly sweet, then blossomed into something hungrier.
She pressed her body against his, tilting her head as her mouth opened, inviting him in. Their tongues met slowly at first, sliding together in wet, sensual strokes. Sarah kissed like she was afraid he might disappear, pouring every ounce of longing into it.
A soft, needy whimper escaped her throat as Stan wrapped his strong arm around her waist and pulled her flush against him, deepening the kiss until they were both breathing hard, lips slick and swollen.
When they finally parted, a thin string of saliva still connected them for a moment.
