Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 Sister Yunyun

"Ding, the Companion Amethyst Source has been successfully extracted. Please check your inventory."

After a difficult escape from the cave, the system notification sounded in Chen Mo's mind.

A thought flashed through his mind, and he noticed a small red dot in his system inventory. Clicking on it, he saw that besides the Concealing Qi Technique and three healing talismans, there were four bottles of Companion Amethyst Source in his item list.

  "Reliable."

Just as Chen Mo was about to leave this dangerous place, an idea suddenly came to him.

A transmigrator who doesn't cause trouble for the protagonist isn't a qualified transmigrator.

At the same time, Xiao Yan, seeing that the stone platform couldn't extract a single drop of Amethyst Source, was about to put the two small jade bottles containing the Amethyst Source into his storage ring.

Suddenly, he discovered that the two small jade bottles were miraculously empty.

"Damn it, where's my Companion Amethyst Source?"

"Teacher, the Companion Amethyst Source is gone."

  "..."

  "Roar!"

  "Roar!"

  "Bang!"

Just as Xiao Yan was horrified at why the Companion Amethyst Source had miraculously disappeared, the roars of beasts outside and the ensuing fight made Yao Lao's expression change.

"Oh no! Someone's provoking the guards at the cave entrance!"

"Teacher, it must be him." Hearing Yao Lao's warning, Xiao Yan looked at the dust gently falling from the ceiling of the cave and, thinking of Chen Mo who had just left, his eyes flashed with anger.

Yao Lao's expression was also grim. He hadn't expected to stumble in this small Monster Mountain Range, but being a man who had weathered many storms, he quickly calmed down and urged, "Let's go, hurry up and retreat, or that big guy will block the entrance."

  "Okay."

It seemed that even Yao Lao sensed the danger. After leaping out of the passage, Yao Lao immediately mounted Xiao Yan and continued running towards the cave exit without stopping.

Then, shortly after he leaped out of the passage, an angry lion's roar came from in front of him.

The little Amethyst Winged Lion King was in a sorry state, its expression furious.

It hadn't expected that in the short time it had gone to the toilet, its lair had been infiltrated one after another.

Not only that, but if it hadn't dodged quickly, it would have been killed by that woman's sword.

Since he couldn't deal with that woman, he was determined to take a piece of her flesh.

However, Xiao Yan, possessed by Yao Lao, was even more formidable than Yun Yun. Just as he approached, a massive black blade slammed into him, sending a large body crashing against the cave wall.

"Ugh!" The little purple-winged lion king's head buzzed from the impact, and cracks appeared in the cave wall behind him.

"Don't be distracted, hurry! That big guy is coming!" The lion king didn't hesitate as it flew away, continuing its rapid advance towards the cave entrance. It had

just emerged from the cave when

it was too late. Returning to find its family still there, especially its son, who was stumbling out, clearly badly injured. Its anger was palpable.

"Damn humans, I will not forgive you today!"

A purple light, even larger than the previous two, roared from the lion king's mouth, its combined rage pouring down on Xiao Yan.

Regardless of whether he was in league with that woman, someone had to bear the consequences of the fight.

  A major battle was imminent.

  ...

In a secluded grove outside the mountains, even from a great distance, Yun Yun could still sense the relatively large energy fluctuations.

The Amethyst Winged Lion King was utterly enraged.

"What happened? Why is the Amethyst Winged Lion King so furious?" Even Yun Yun, who had provoked him twice before, hadn't experienced this level of anger.

As she spoke, Yun Yun turned and crouched down. Chen Mo, half-reclining against a large tree, was still excitedly recounting his heroic deeds, proudly waving the Amethyst Crystal in his hand.

Yun Yun's gaze shifted slightly downwards, landing on the rather gruesome wound on Chen Mo's chest. A pang of pain shot through her heart. With a thought, she took out several bottles and jars from her storage ring.

She opened a small bottle, poured out a little pale green liquid onto her finger, and then carefully applied it to Chen Mo's wound, saying as she did so, "You came out perfectly fine, why did you provoke that guarding beast?"

Chen Mo's triumphant words paused, revealing a gentle side to Yun Yun, something Chen Mo had never seen before. Then he laughed heartily, "That kid's just unlucky."

Thinking of Xiao Yan's mishap under his scheme, Chen Mo was very pleased.

  "That kid?"

"Yes, someone beat me to it."

  "Others? How many?"

"Two, I suppose, ouch." Chen Mo winced slightly, but after a moment's thought, he mentioned Xiao Yan's name.

"Xiao Yan?" Yun Yun was slightly taken aback. Could it be that Xiao Yan?

"Yes, he said he's from Wutan City. Do you know him?" Chen Mo asked deliberately, constantly watching her expression.

Yun Yun hesitated for a moment, then poured some medicinal powder from another bottle and sprinkled it on Chen Mo's wound. Seeing that the bleeding had stopped, she sighed and said, "You'll find out some things sooner or later, so I don't intend to hide them from you anymore."

Chen Mo seemed to know what she was going to say and listened quietly.

"Didn't I tell you before that I'd introduce you to a girl of similar talent when we got to the Yunlan Sect?" Yun Yun slowly stood up, then turned her back to Chen Mo and said, "Her name is Nalan Yanran, and she used to be Xiao Yan's fiancée."

  "Ah!" Chen Mo feigned surprise.

Yun Yun continued, "And my name isn't Yun Zhi, but Yun Yun, the sect leader of the Yunlan Sect."

"Ah!" Chen Mo was surprised again, as if he were hearing this for the first time.

"I'm sorry, I lied to you, but I… ah…" Yun Yun suddenly turned around to explain to Chen Mo, but before she knew it, Chen Mo had suddenly appeared behind her, and she fell violently into his arms.

"Ouch, that hurts." Two lumps landed squarely on Chen Mo's wound, causing him considerable pain. Before he could even process it, she quickly pushed him away.

"Ahem." Chen Mo coughed lightly and chuckled, "So, should I call you Sect Master Yun Yun now, or Yun Zhi?"

"You're not angry with me?" Yun Yun seemed to value Chen Mo's opinion of her.

"I understand. After all, it's our first meeting, and there's no need to reveal my real name." To avoid any misunderstanding, Chen Mo said, "But I haven't hidden anything; my name is Chen Mo."

Yun Yun bit her red lips lightly. The boy's sincere gaze made her somewhat helpless, her eyes darting around. For a moment, both of them fell silent.

Chen Mo broke the silence first. He held Yun Yun's delicate hand, swearing that he absolutely didn't intend to take advantage of her, but rather to hand her the Purple Spirit Crystal.

"The teacher you're going to introduce is yourself, isn't it?" Chen Mo said with a faint smile.

A blush crept onto Yun Yun's pretty face, then her eyebrows furrowed, and she said with feigned seriousness, "What, you don't want to?"

"I'm willing, but can I call you by your name instead of 'teacher'? Or 'Sister Yun Yun' is fine too."

  "Why?"

  "Because that's my request." "

  Sure, but only in private."

  "Sister Yun Yun."
