Shelly would have loved to throw Reina at Kora and get rid of her, but unfortunately, she could not do that without risking Rin's life.
That, and the fact that losing Reina would make Rin's busy life even busier.
He already had almost no time to spend with Shelly, and she had no intention of letting anything else get his attention before she found a way to regain it.
So, as much as it pained her to do so, she was going to defend Reina staying here.
