The two people followed Rin back to his office and he gestured to them to sit. Shelly followed his orders without wasting a second, but Albus needed a little longer to decide whether to follow the request.
Rin allowed him to take his time before he gestured for Shelly to hand him the fruit she had managed to retrieve.
Shelly happily handed the fruit back to him with a smile on her face.
Rin carefully peeled the fruit before cutting it into two parts and handing it back to the pair. Albus ate his part without thinking but Shelly tried to pass it back to Rin.
"I don't need this. Instead, you should have it, Rin. Since you're more fragile than I am, it can come in handy."
"It won't help me, Shelly. Only those with the system quest will receive the benefit of this fruit. I did not receive the quest."
Rin reminded her. Shelly already knew this, but she must have felt bad being the only one eating it.
