After three days of being busy with the coronation ,Ryun has had less time seeing Akia even though his mind gnawed at him to stop checking on her when she was asleep. But he couldn't stop doing it, she was even cuter when asleep, and he noticed that she stopped using her power to feel the wound ,when he asked her while they were training she said that she was harnessing healing through other measures . He didn't dare question anything else cause he knew already why she was doing things this way now . As for him, the meeting he was in dragged on longer than he calculated and his mind kept drifting back and back to her. "So no signs of witches spotted again except the northern kingdom, your highness ."the meeting continued, "Why would they be in the northern kingdom?"he asked the council member who spoke earlier.
"The Volstren clan leader orded it ,your highness. " the council member replied,Ryun tapped his finger on the table looking at all the old men and scholars looking at him. The Norghen kingdoms clan leader or king was the same age as him. He knew why he would need witches around him but there was a rule within the four kingdoms that aligning with witches had to go by a code ,if the other kingdoms were not informed then your quest is invalid . Witches are known to be bad people and troublesome although he had a few of them in his corner but that wa because he worked in underground levels. He hated tenacious things that would ruin his progress. Although he was curious about what the northern king was up to he had to stop the witches from entering his borders .
There are two different types of witches. Siphoners known as black witches and Heredicts known as white witches. Those witches usually have divine spiritual power, they come as priests, seers, fortune tellers and so on and so on while siphoners witches that practiced black magic while they were white witches . Until they become what they are now .
Ryun hated any form of witch cause each of them had their own cockiness or something, the council meeting finished but he stayed since an investigator pleaded to tell him something he found . "Your highness, I will not take up most of your time. There was a report nearby borders last night that a deformed black witch had showed up casting spells. Men shot it down but thd last thing it carried was this."the investigator known as Gong,pushed a piece of paper to Ryun . He looked at the green eyes for a while and then he nodded his head. "It said that ,whoever has green eyes is this empire is going to die if they do not do thier destiny ."investigator Gong continued, Ryun nodded his head . He did think of ,Akia but their were many people with green eyes in this empire.
"Is the witch still alive ?"Ryun asked investigator Gong ,who nodded his head ."Yes he is, your Majesty." Ryun sighed, he then asked Investigator Gong to go show him the witch when he did ,he saw a man in his mid thirties, scratching his skin while his head twitched every time he spoke . Ryun banged on the jail rods and the witch turned to look at him , "Ah your Majesty, what a pleasure to mee- eet yyy-ou. " the witch said twitching, Ryun bowed his head. "I couldn't have come, you practically invited me here . Name?"he said opening the chain doors to enter and he did . Now inside prison with the witch , the witch twitched and then laughed , "Oh my. Did I? " the witch replied twitching. Ryun blankly starred at him, the witch then sat down. "Silas is my name , your majesty."Ryun titled his head and watched the witch who just introduced himself. "What do you know about the Joeng clan?"he asked the witch .
The witch twitched slightly, and made clicking sounds. "Eun-ho left a daughter but she was sooner fffound dead ,yyour mmajesty."Silas replied twitching and Ryun sighed. "What if I told you see was alive and dying ?"he said and the witches eyes raised, "Impossible , aaall the witches witnessed the cchildss ddeaath."he said clearly in disbelief, "What do you mean witnessed ?" Ryun asked. "On the day of Eun-ho ddeaath ,witchhes voweddd ttto prottectt her buttt witthh nnoo we all ssaw Eeunho destroy theirr ownn daugghteerr. Thheey all turnedd tto sstone afftter sshee died . Cause nno Joeng clan memmberr was supposed to kill theirr own offspring. " Silas said and then sucked in some air catching his breath , Ryun watched the witch twitch while he was processing his words . "How long have you lived ?"he asked Silas who only gave him a toothy smile ,"I'm eeven older than your father bboy."he said making Ryun roll his eyes , no one mentioned that the Joeng clan turned into stone after Eun-ho killed ghied last descendant. The is it possible that they manipulated their own power to turn to stone, then save thier last descendant? With the twitching witch infront of him he couldn't afford to be swayed since they lied so much . But something in him didn't settle right after what Silas told him , in the records of thier empires history it is said to be no remains of the Joeng clan at all. Then is it possible that they truly manipulated and are now coming back since their descendant core has broken down to four parts ? He realized that he cares so much about this girl named Akia that it even made him growl in fear in thoughts of her being in pain ever.
