Misae, who had just sent her troublesome eldest son into the exam venue, was walking out of the school gate holding Himawari when she saw this.
Misae quickly went over to help the green-haired boy up and looked disapprovingly at the durian-haired. "Hey, kid, how can you hit people?"
"It's okay, it's okay, Auntie."
The green-haired boy got up from the ground. Half his face was swollen as if stung by a hornet, but a smile still hung on his lips.
"This is how Kacchan and I usually get along. He just has trouble expressing his feelings."
Misae looked at his swollen face with a blank expression. Himawari in her arms also had her eyes wide, her mouth slightly open.
'What is this ugly guy saying?'
"Hey, are all the people in your world mentally ill?"
Aqua tilted her head and asked Makoto.
Makoto looked at her speechlessly.
'Do you, an idiot goddess, have the right to say that?'
But to be honest, this pair of geniuses' IQs really weren't up to Aqua's level.
After all, even in the Anime World, where strange things abound, no one had ever seen the bullied person act as the bully's lackey.
The durian-haired and the green-haired boy noticed Makoto's group. The green-haired boy's face turned pale. He bowed like a folding fan.
"I-I'm sorry, Commander! W-we were just playing around. I-it's nothing..."
The durian-haired's face was also pale. Fine beads of sweat oozed from his forehead. His lips pressed into a thin line.
But even so, he still clenched his fists and stood his ground stubbornly.
"Why won't you accept me into the school?"
His voice was much lower than before, but still carried an inherent arrogance. Then the durian-haired pointed at the green-haired boy. "If even this useless piece of trash can get in, why can't I?"
Not being allowed to take the entrance exam was only one of the reasons he was causing trouble.
What made him even angrier was that even Midoriya Izuku... that useless childhood friend he had looked down on since childhood... had qualified for the exam.
The strong contrast and sense of frustration made him extremely annoyed.
Seeing this brat dare to use that tone with Makoto, Yu walked up with a dark face. "Kid, who the f*ck do you think you are?"
Izuku stepped forward again, standing between the durian-haired and Yu, extending his arms like a mother hen protecting her chicks. "P-please forgive Kacchan, Ishigami-sama."
Izuku knelt down, his forehead hitting the ground.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! H-he can't talk properly... b-but he's really a good person—! Please don't hold it against him, Commander—!"
Yu was dumbfounded.
'Why did it feel like this green-haired kid was a lackey for this durian-haired?'
'We had just witnessed with our own eyes this kid getting punched by the durian-haired, and now he was kneeling down to beg for mercy for him.'
'Did he have a masochistic streak?'
It made Yu feel embarrassed to hit someone so stupid.
Kaguya looked the angry Primeape up and down, then leaned close to Makoto's ear. "I remember this kid... he's rejected after the interview."
Makoto raised an eyebrow. "Who interviewed him?"
"It's Nijika."
Ryo answered quickly.
After graduating high school, Nijika had been invited by Makoto to become a teacher at this school.
She didn't have superpowers herself, but she had a knack for raising Pokémon.
Although Makoto didn't yet have the ability to go to the Pokémon World and stock up, that was fine. He had taken a stroll through the summoning world of the Naruto World and coaxed quite a few summoned creatures back, more than enough to substitute for Pokémon.
Nijika thus became the school's 'Monster' teacher.
Makoto pulled out his phone and dialed Nijika's number.
In front of everyone, he pressed the speakerphone button.
"Nijika, do you remember interviewing a kid who looked like he had a durian as a head?"
The other end of the line was quiet for a moment.
Background noise sounded like the rustling of paper... probably Nijika flipping through her interview records.
Bakugo Katsuki's fists clenched.
Izuku got up from the ground and stared nervously at the phone.
"Mm... there was a kid like that."
Nijika's voice came from the phone, soft and hesitant. "But I felt that kid's personality wasn't very good, and his character wasn't very good either, so I didn't let him pass the interview."
Makoto couldn't help laughing.
Nijika was still too gentle.
For someone with Bakugo's personality, her assessment was still just 'not very good'.
If Utaha or Hancock had interviewed him, they would have called him trash outright.
Ryo couldn't help commenting, "If even Nijika says someone has character issues, then they're truly hopeless."
She was Nijika's childhood friend. She had freeloaded meals off her family, borrowed money and never repaid it, constantly taken advantage of her. But Nijika had never minded.
Someone this tolerant, nearly to the point of having no bottom line, thought Bakugo's character was bad... just how trashy must this guy be?
"Is something wrong?" Nijika's voice carried a hint of worry.
"No."
Makoto smiled. "You were spot on."
He hung up the phone and looked at Bakugo. "Get lost."
Bakugo stood where he was, trembling all over.
His teeth ground together audibly. His nails dug into his palms.
If anyone at his school had talked to him like that, he would have already rushed over and pinned them to the ground.
But although he was arrogant, he wasn't stupid.
He knew that if he so much as did one more thing out of line, Makoto's men would rip him to pieces on the spot.
In the end, the raging monkey took a deep breath, swallowed his anger, and turned to leave.
"Kacchan, wait for me!" Izuku shouted and chased after him.
Itsuki watched the green-haired boy's retreating back and suddenly remembered something.
"Hey, student... aren't you going to take the exam?"
But the green-haired boy didn't look back.
"You know him?" Makoto asked.
Itsuki nodded. "I was the one who interviewed him."
Itsuki crossed her fingers over her chest, recalling the scene.
"Although he's a very timid kid, he desperately wants to become a Hero. So I thought I'd give him a chance."
"Your eyes were off," Makoto said with a smile.
Orochimaru walked out from behind the crowd, his golden vertical pupils fixed on Bakugo's retreating back. He licked his lips.
"That kid is definitely going to go down the wrong path."
As the most famous human trafficker in the Naruto World, Orochimaru had lured countless children to become his pawns.
The madness displayed in Bakugo's eyes just now was quite rare even in the Naruto World.
"That's a good thing," Makoto smiled. "I'm curious to see what kind of trouble he'll cause for me."
