Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Stepping outside, a gust of wind passed through Lyssandra and made her shiver, the chill biting at her damp, exposed skin.

She needed to stop flaunting her body and put some clothes on, but that couldn't be helped.

Outside the room was just an endless, stretched, dimly lit hallway with the same blue stone walls everywhere, creating a claustrophobic sense of repetition.

She kept walking and walking, enduring the cold and the raging boner from the high libido stat.

Her shaft throbbed and twitched against her stomach, the friction of her wet legs making her toes curl.

"I might just cum from walking if I'm not careful,"

Then she heard it, the familiar swishing sound echoing down the corridor.

"Must be another slime,"

As she peeked her head over the corner of a T-section, she saw it—a grotesque, translucent mass engulfing its prey.

The slime was eating, a human leg still being digested inside it, the skin turning into translucent jelly as the creature pulsed rhythmically.

"Is that… a human?" she thought, she stared at the dissolving flesh with wide, dilated pupils.

She kept on observing, her heart hammering against her ribs as she analyzed the enemy's weakness.

This slime had the same small orb, but its body was much bigger than the last one, maybe 10 cm tall, glowing with a menacing red hue.

"It hints at a different type of slime," she thought, narrowing her eyes at the burning coal like core.

Then, as true to her suspicion, the leg inside it suddenly turned black, shrinking and hardening like meat roasted over a fire.

Thick, choking smoke filled the hallway, and the sharp scent of burning flesh stung her nostrils.

"Damn, this one can use fire," she whispered, her voice trembling as she looked at her own naked, vulnerable body.

"How can I beat it without getting burned or cooked like that poor fool?"

"It can use fire, which means it might be weak against water," she muttered, her mind racing through the limited data she possessed.

"It's possible," she reasoned, scanning the barren hallway for any sign of moisture.

In a bad case, she could run away if the shit hit the fan, thanks to the open corridor unlike her previous, boxed-in encounter.

But the problem was, where could she find water in this godforsaken place?

She was wracking her brain. When she was about to try to hit the red slime with her lance, a brilliant idea popped up in her mind as she looked down.

Chomp, chomp.

The red slime continued to enjoy its meal, its molten form pulsing lazily around the charred remains of the leg.

Then it noticed a shadow running fast in its direction, the sudden movement triggering its aggressive instincts.

It kept a nonchalant attitude—if it even possessed the mental capacity to express one.

Then, from its side, a smaller blob slowly detached, a miniature red slime born from the parent's molten flesh.

Then another created, and another.

Three spawns.

Those three smaller red slimes charged in at Lyssandra with high speed, their movements fast and relentless.

She first tried using her arm lance to swipe at one of them, not expecting to kill it outright but merely to deflect the attack.

To her surprise, her slime-infused limb easily got it sliced into two small pieces.

Lyssandra didn't expect this. It should flesh be mushier than water; why did it cut so easily?

Her speed slowed down in her shock, but that was her big mistake.

The sliced slime pieces suddenly pulsed violently, the burning core taking over as the surface glowed an angry orange.

Then boom.

A small explosion happened and hit her, blasting her back by the force and sending searing pain across her body.

Disoriented and shocked, Lyssandra stumbled as she struggled to stand up, her vision blurring from the blast.

Burned patches were visible on her skin, blistering slightly from the intense heat of the explosion.

"Shit, that wasn't even on the plan," she gasped, smoke rising from her scalp.

"This is not good; I have to run."

Then she ran away from the two small red slimes, her legs pumping to propel her naked form down the corridor.

She started slow, the slimes close on her heel, leaving trails of burning goo behind them.

But then she picked up the pace, her agility allowing her to outrun those slimes as the gaps widened.

She finally lost them after a long, winding chase that left her breathless and her legs shaking.

Then she took a break, leaning against the cold stone wall to catch her breath and cool the burns on her skin.

Discovery: Unused Skill from Previous Level-Up.

"Wait," she thought. "I didn't choose my skill yet."

The blue screen flickered to life in her vision again, a fresh menu displaying the options.

She stared at the glowing menu, her mind racing through the possibilities.

"Analysis / Scan," she read aloud. "Reveals detailed information about enemies, items, and environments."

"In a battle, it's probably worth having,"

Then she looked at the second option: Increase 10% STR (Base Value).

"The first one is good; the second is decent," she mused, tapping her finger against her cheek.

"But what the hell is the last one?" she asked, her eyes widening in astonishment at the strange skill name.

Lactation Control.

"Control my own milk production? I don't even have milk yet," she thought, her confusion mounting as she stared at the text.

After a while of thinking, she decided to get the Scan skill.

"'Know your enemy, and know yourself, and you will win every battle,'"

A surge of pride washed over her, the wisdom feeling oddly familiar.

"But wait, how did I know that quote?" she wondered aloud, tapping her glassy lips.

But quickly, as the thought came, she tossed the question behind her and focused on the immediate danger.

She was ready for the rematch against the red slime, her hand glowing green as she reformed it into the sharp lance.

"Let's go," she breathed, her eyes burning with a mix of fear and determination.

While on her way back, she glanced at her status again and noticed that her HP was 30/50, a significant drop from the previous explosion.

"I was lucky," she muttered, pressing her hand against her side where she could feel the pain of the scorched skin.

"If I had been hit by all three of them, I would've been crispy inside that slime by now."

She shuddered, not even wanting to think about the consequence of digestion by such a volatile creature.

Then, after navigating the twisting corridor, she found her way back to the red slime.

It was still there, its molten form having congealed and shrunk slightly as it digested its meal.

But this time, it seemed like it had already finished its meal and just stood idly around, its core pulsing slowly.

2 of its minions were nowhere to be found, probably merged back inside it. Lucky for her. The slime's bulk was slightly larger now, absorbing the tiny fireballs back into its molten form.

Then she used her newly acquired scan skill.

The action was instantaneous and required no effort. This skill didn't use any MP, because on her status, the MP line was still greyed out.

Same as many buttons inside the system, it seemed like she needed to fulfill some criteria to get them to unlock.

"Hmm, just tapping the skill… it knows the enemy," she thought, and immediately, a new panel appeared in her vision.

Name: Fire Slime Species: Slime

Level: 3

Appearance: A writhing mass of molten-red goo, constantly shimmering with internal heat. Its semi-transparent body glows like hot embers, with flickers of flame dancing beneath its surface. At its center lies a brighter, pulsating core resembling a burning coal—the source of its life and power. Occasionally, small sparks or wisps of smoke escape its body.

Skills and Abilities:

Pyrokinetic Body: Unlike ordinary slimes, the Red Slime generates intense heat. Its body can scorch, burn, or ignite anything it touches. Flame Shifting: It retains the shape-shifting ability of standard slimes but enhances forms with fire. For example, weapons it creates may be engulfed in flames, and animal forms may leave burning trails. Heat Amplification: The slime can increase its temperature at will, turning parts of its body into near-liquid fire. This makes physical attacks dangerous and allows it to melt through obstacles. Fire Projection: It can launch blobs of burning slime or bursts of flame at enemies from a distance. Splitting Combustion: When splitting into clones, each fragment retains heat and can act independently. Smaller clones may explode on impact or upon destruction, creating fiery bursts. Thermal Regeneration: It regenerates faster in hot environments, drawing energy from heat sources such as lava, fire, or even sunlight.

Weaknesses:

Cold and Water: Extreme cold can solidify its body, limiting movement and shape-shifting. Large amounts of water can rapidly cool it, weakening its structure and extinguishing its flames. Core Exposure: While its outer body is dangerous, the core remains its critical weak point. Cooling or directly damaging the core can kill it. Energy Drain: Excessive splitting reduces its overall heat and power, making each fragment weaker and easier to extinguish. Magic Vulnerability: Like other slimes, it is susceptible to magic that disrupts elemental energy or nullifies its abilities.

Behavior: More aggressive than its green counterpart, the Red Slime instinctively seeks heat and destruction. It is drawn to movement and flammable materials, often attacking anything nearby. Despite its destructive nature, it still lacks intelligence and operates purely on instinct—burn, consume, and grow.
