Chapter 134 - CHAPTER 134

"Good heavens! I haven't even made a move yet, and Kakuzu and Hidan have already subdued Kisame Hoshigaki! How did they do that? The letter didn't explain much, so I don't know the details, but anyway… well done!!!"

chinatsu's face immediately lit up with an undisguised smile.

Subduing Kisame wasn't particularly difficult for her personally. The important part wasn't that they had saved her some effort, but rather that Kakuzu and Hidan had demonstrated their value.

chinatsu intended to build a super clan far more prosperous than the original Uchiha Clan. A powerful organization didn't just need strong members; it also needed capable and intelligent subordinates.

"I really didn't expect Hidan and Kakuzu to handle Kisame. The letter even says they captured the Four-Tails Jinchūriki too! These are such excellent employees. Even if you don't want a bonus, I'm giving you one anyway!"

chinatsu immediately opened the Uchiha Clan treasury and withdrew an enormous amount of money.

The amount was enough to make even Kakuzu's heart tremble.

Then she used Flying Thunder God and headed directly toward the Land of Earth, where Kakuzu and Hidan were currently located.

Meanwhile.

Land of Earth.

Rōshi's residence.

At this moment, both Rōshi and Kisame were tied up tightly with chakra-suppressing restraints.

Their bodies were covered with injuries.

Without medical treatment, recovery would take at least ten days to half a month.

Most importantly

Blood samples had already been collected.

Under Hidan's abilities, what difference did it make whether they were a Perfect Jinchūriki or the infamous Tailless Tailed Beast?

"Damn it! You betrayed the organization! Shameless! A disgrace to Akatsuki! That man won't let traitors like you get away with this!"

Even while tied up, Kisame's ability to curse people remained impressive.

But unfortunately

Were words effective against Kakuzu and Hidan?

The answer was obvious.

Completely useless.

Hidan sat lazily in a chair with one leg crossed over the other.

Using his little finger to clean his ear.

In his opinion, cleaning earwax was far more important than listening to Kisame's threats.

Kakuzu, however, seemed interested and actually responded.

"That person? The one always pretending to be a god? Sorry, but I think my current boss is ten times... no, one hundred times stronger."

If he was going to flatter someone, he might as well go all the way.

The multiplier depended entirely on his mood.

Though to be fair, Kakuzu genuinely believed chinatsu was stronger than the Akatsuki leadership.

Kisame listened with a look of disbelief.

The funny thing was that the "person" Kisame referred to wasn't Pain at all.

It was the masked man.

Uchiha Obito.

As a result, the conversation somehow involved four different people at once.

Uchiha chinatsu.

Uchiha Obito.

Pain.

And the mysterious "god" that each side imagined differently.

Their thought processes weren't even on the same channel.

Yet somehow the conversation continued smoothly.

Nearby.

Rōshi remained tied up just like Kisame.

However, his eyes were closed.

Of course, he wasn't sleeping.

He simply didn't know what to say.

Thus he entered his inner mental world and began speaking with the Four-Tails.

"Son!"

"The situation has suddenly become strange. These people aren't on the same side at all. There's a third force involved."

Rōshi scratched his head irritably.

He was a straightforward man.

Thinking wasn't his specialty.

Punching people was.

Unfortunately, he couldn't currently do either.

"Don't panic."

Son Gokū crossed his arms calmly.

"Although we Tailed Beasts can't sense emotions as clearly as Kurama can, we can still feel general intent."

"Those two aren't paying attention to you at all."

"Their focus is entirely on the person beside you."

"They probably won't do anything to you for now."

Hearing this, Rōshi realized something.

It was true.

From the moment they met, Kakuzu and Hidan had shown no real intention of capturing him.

In fact, they seemed more interested in someone else entirely.

Then why had they been secretly monitoring him?

Rōshi fell into thought.

Son Gokū glanced at him once and immediately looked away.

If Rōshi could actually figure out complicated plans, the entire ninja world would probably be finished.

Time passed slowly.

Kisame grew thirsty.

Kakuzu was also thirsty.

The difference was that Kakuzu had water.

Kisame did not.

Even if he wanted to continue insulting Kakuzu, he no longer had enough saliva to continue.

"I said..."

"What exactly are you trying to do...?"

Kisame asked hoarsely.

"Don't rush."

"The boss should be here soon."

Kakuzu chuckled.

"Don't worry. We'll all be colleagues soon."

Kisame clicked his tongue.

Switch jobs?

Join them?

They were underestimating him.

Even if he died, Kisame Hoshigaki would never betray his beliefs.

Kakuzu naturally understood exactly what Kisame was thinking.

He simply sighed helplessly.

What use was a strong will?

Under Kotoamatsukami, everyone was equal.

Unless you weren't human.

Ten more minutes passed.

Both Kisame and Rōshi were beginning to lose patience.

Just as Kisame was preparing to stand up and fight no matter the consequences

Without any footsteps.

Without any chakra fluctuations.

Without anyone sensing her approach.

The door suddenly opened.

Creak.

Kisame immediately turned toward the entrance.

The moment he saw the newcomer

His entire body froze.

Not just his legs.

Everything.

"What?!"

"It's you?!"

"You devilish woman?!"

"Devilish woman?"

 chinatsu pointed at herself.

Then laughed.

"Oh my."

"I got a new nickname?"

She honestly didn't care what others called her.

But "devilish woman" sounded surprisingly cool.

Not bad.

Not bad at all.

Watching chinatsu walk directly into the room.

Watching Kakuzu and Hidan immediately straighten up and greet her respectfully.

Kisame felt genuine despair.

Uchiha chinatsu.

The last time they met, she had chased both him and Itachi across the battlefield by herself.

Not only had she overwhelmed them

She had successfully stabbed Itachi in the waist.

After that encounter, Itachi had given Kisame a serious warning.

In the future, Kisame could provoke almost anyone.

But absolutely never provoke chinatsu.

Itachi possessed frightening observational abilities.

After only a brief exchange, he could usually estimate an opponent's strength.

Pain's power was straightforward.

Terrifying, but understandable.

 chinatsu was different.

Itachi couldn't understand her at all.

Wood Release.

Flying Thunder God.

Mangekyō Sharingan.

Kotoamatsukami.

Susanoo.

And a collection of bizarre abilities that seemed completely unrelated to one another.

Her strength was a complete mess.

Yet undeniably overwhelming.

Kisame had always trusted his instincts.

And his instincts screamed only one thing whenever he saw chinatsu.

Danger.

Extreme danger.

And now

That danger had arrived.

 chinatsu smiled and walked over.

Then she crouched slightly so that her eyes met Kisame's directly.

"Kisame."

"See you later~"

As she spoke

Her eyes transformed.

The Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan appeared.

The pattern slowly rotated.

The ultimate genjutsu activated.

Kotoamatsukami.

Kisame's body trembled violently.

His pupils instantly lost focus.

His head tilted to one side.

And without even the slightest resistance

The infamous Kisame Hoshigaki immediately lost consciousness.

The room suddenly became completely silent.
