Chapter 55 - CHAPTER 55

Even though Chinatsu had successfully taken Danzo Shimura's Mangekyou Sharingan, it still wasn't something she could fully rely on right now. The real target remained Uchiha Itachi. Only by obtaining both eyes could she reach the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, the true stable Kage-level threshold she was aiming for.

It shouldn't be too hard… right?

Chinatsu had already mapped it out in her mind.

Next time she met Itachi Uchiha, she would walk straight up to him and stretch out her hand like it was the most natural thing in the world.

"Give me back my brother's eye."

It was simple logic.

She was his sister. He had taken it. So returning it should be reasonable, right? If he refused, that would be the unreasonable part.

But deep down, Chinatsu already knew how that conversation would go.

Itachi: No.

Cold. Direct. No hesitation.

And then

Chinatsu would probably lose it, go full rage mode, ignore consequences entirely, and start a violent exchange involving high-speed movement, kidney-level targeting, and forcibly taking the eye back.

Perfect plan.

Chinatsu snapped her fingers to herself, satisfied.

"Once I get the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, I'll basically be sitting at consistent Kage level."

Even without those so-called "Six Paths" level cheats, she would still be one of the strongest active pieces on the board when the main plot unfolded.

Back at home, she sat casually on the sofa, idly spinning Shisui Uchiha's Mangekyou Sharingan inside a sealed glass bottle she had taken from Danzo.

That eye alone represented a trump card Kotoamatsukami.

Dangerous. Valuable. Extremely inconvenient.

Footsteps suddenly approached outside.

Chinatsu reacted instantly, sliding the bottle away just in time.

Two seconds later

Bang!

The door opened.

"Sister!"

"We're back!"

Naruto and Sasuke rushed in.

Both of them had grown significantly now over 1.5 meters tall. They were still slightly shorter than Chinatsu, but the gap was shrinking fast, and for some reason that made her vaguely uncomfortable.

Sasuke immediately noticed something off.

"Sister… why are you wearing a kimono?"

Naruto tilted his head. "Yeah… I heard old ladies say that's for important occasions, right?"

Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "What did you do today?"

Chinatsu froze for half a second.

This was the exact kind of question she didn't want.

She scratched her head casually.

"Hmm… your sister went on a special mission. Yes, a mission. Don't think too much about it."

A very unconvincing answer.

But Sasuke and Naruto surprisingly accepted it without pushing further.

Probably because they trusted her too much.

Sasuke suddenly leaned forward. "We have our graduation exam tomorrow. The Three Body Techniques, right? Easy."

Naruto nodded quickly. "Yeah! Shadow Clone, Substitution, Transformation I've got it all!"

Sasuke crossed his arms. "No difficulty."

Naruto scratched his head. "Transformation is still kinda annoying though…"

Chinatsu sighed and lightly slapped both of their heads.

"Before you two grow taller than me, I need to do this while I still can."

Both boys rubbed their heads but didn't complain.

The next day: Ninja Academy Graduation Exam.

In the original timeline, Naruto struggled due to the Nine-Tails interfering with his chakra control, making even basic techniques unstable.

But now things were different.

Naruto and Sasuke were already recognized as top-tier students in their class though both were still labeled "problem children" by the teachers because normal sparring sessions often turned into disaster control situations.

Iruka Umino, their homeroom teacher, sighed as he checked the attendance list.

"…Next. Hinata Hyuga."

"Y-yes…!"

Hinata stepped forward nervously.

She performed the basic techniques smoothly, then moved to Transformation.

White smoke burst out.

When it cleared

 Chinatsu appeared.

Hinata-version Chinatsu stood there shyly, hands clasped, eyes down.

The instructors froze.

Then Iruka nodded firmly.

"Excellent transformation. High-level accuracy in personality mimicry."

Hinata smiled softly. "She's… someone I admire…"

As she stepped aside, Iruka sighed again.

"…Next. Naruto Uzumaki. Sasuke Uchiha."

The real problems arrived.

Sasuke looked bored. "Let's finish this quickly."

Naruto grinned. "Yeah!"

Shadow Clone Technique.

Bang!

Naruto produced dozens of clones immediately. Sasuke created a few precise ones.

Substitution Technique.

Clean execution. No mistakes.

Transformation Technique.

Both paused.

Then

"Transformation Technique!"

Bang! Bang!

Smoke exploded.

When it cleared

Two versions of Chinatsu stood there.

Sasuke's version: the "Night of the Uchiha" style bloodstained, torn clothing, cold expression.

Naruto's version: kimono Chinatsu, smiling and warm like yesterday.

Naruto laughed stupidly. "Hehe… she looked really cool like this!"

Sasuke grabbed his cheeks immediately.

"Don't use sister's face to make that stupid expression."

"Ow! Ow!"

Watching the chaos, Iruka and the other examiners fell silent.

Then, almost unanimously

"…Pass."

"Just leave already."

Naruto and Sasuke kept arguing while walking out, still pulling each other's faces as they exited the exam hall.
