Chapter 49 - CHAPTER 49

"Sister? What about mine?"

Seeing Naruto receive a reward, Sasuke pointed a finger at himself, his face practically screaming "pathetic." This almost made Chinatsu want to facepalm on the spot.

"Well~ Multiple Shadow Clone Technique… cough cough, you can practice together first, but Sasuke, you can't create hundreds of clones at once like Naruto, or you'll drain your chakra reserves immediately."

Chinatsu awkwardly scratched her cheek with one finger. Even though she had the idea to create her own ninjutsu after awakening the Mangekyou Sharingan and copying techniques like Kakashi's Lightning Release style, she wasn't a god who could instantly create new jutsu from scratch like Tobirama or Minato-level geniuses.

Give me a little time, please. It shouldn't take too long… probably.

Fortunately, one Multiple Shadow Clone Technique would be enough for Naruto and Sasuke to practice for a while.

The Multiple Shadow Clone Technique is an advanced forbidden jutsu derived from the basic Shadow Clone Technique, capable of producing hundreds or even thousands of clones. In canon, it is classified as forbidden because it divides chakra evenly among clones, causing ordinary users to collapse or die from exhaustion something even Kakashi warned Naruto about before the Chunin Exams.

But Naruto's Uzumaki lineage makes him an exception due to his massive chakra reserves, just like the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails. The Uchiha clan, while not comparable to Uzumaki levels, still possesses above-average chakra density enhanced by their Sharingan, so Sasuke could manage it in moderation.

Watching the two begin to imitate the hand seals of the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, Chinatsu simply sat back, propping her chin up with one hand, quietly observing them like Kakashi often did during Team 7 training sessions.

Rest was important too; she'd call it "supervising training."

Everything was proceeding according to plan, even faster than expected. This meant that by the time the original canon events like the Land of Waves arc and Chunin Exams arrived, she should already have enough strength Mangekyou Sharingan included to avoid becoming cannon fodder like most unnamed ninjas.

A satisfied smile appeared on Chinatsu's face. Sasuke and Naruto, who were training, were utterly bewildered by their older sister's expression.

They couldn't understand the immense pressure Chinatsu was under. Unlike other transmigrators who often awakened systems or started with cheat abilities like reincarnated Sage powers or Tailed Beast contracts, she had none of that only knowledge of canon and the Uchiha bloodline she had to develop herself.

Fortunately, at least she still had one or two useful "cheat codes," like Mangekyou abilities such as Kotoamatsukami and her replication eye.

Although she always said she'd take it one step at a time, she had unknowingly progressed to the point where she could already plan ten steps ahead, like a strategist anticipating battles the way Shikaku Nara would.

There were still over four years until the original storyline fully unfolded.

The next day, the Ninja Academy was closed, so Naruto and Sasuke didn't have to go. They had trained late into the night using chakra exhaustion drills and were fast asleep that morning, similar to early Team 7 exhaustion after Kakashi's bell test.

Chinatsu, on the other hand, was an early riser, standing in the sunlight with boundless energy after fully recovering from Mangekyou strain.

"The two little ones are sleeping, so I'll be free to do as I please."

Chinatsu stretched lazily, then leisurely strolled out of the Uchiha residence and into the streets of Konoha.

The streets were relatively quiet of young shinobi that morning; instead, they were filled with terrifying beings whose fighting spirit was called "Housewife," a force even more intense than genin sparring sessions.

"Don't miss out! Tomatoes are 100 yen each today!"

"What?! That cheap?!"

"Boss, I want two kilos!"

"Me too… don't push me!"

"Give me a bowl of noodles…"

"Your face is less than a tomato!"

With a shout from a roadside stall owner, the attention of most of the housewives was instantly drawn, and they rushed over like shinobi using Body Flicker Technique in a supply war.

The scene… the fighting spirit… truly befitting a battlefield worthy of Konoha civilians who survived wartime eras.

Morning was already a battleground.

Chinatsu watched this scene and chuckled softly. However, she noticed that not all housewives had joined the fray; some observed with calculating eyes, much like strategists analyzing enemy formations.

Chinatsu curiously approached and politely inquired, "Excuse me, aren't you going to buy some tomatoes?"

"Little Chinatsu, hahaha, you're here to buy groceries too? You're so young and already entering the battlefield against us seasoned housewives. That's quite a challenge! Maybe Auntie should teach you shopping tactics sometime?"

The housewife laughed confidently, like a veteran ninja explaining mission strategy.

Chinatsu awkwardly waved her hand, indicating she was simply taking a walk and had no intention of joining this civilian war.

" Chinatsu, you're asking why I didn't buy those cheaper tomatoes over there, right? That's because my target is something more strategic… eggs!"

The housewife pointed at a nearby shop still closed. It was running a limited-time discount eggs at half price.

The moment the shop door opened, the housewives surged forward like coordinated shinobi squads executing a surprise assault mission.

Chinatsu's lips twitched slightly. She realized she had underestimated these middle-aged women. In a village of ninjas, even civilians had combat instincts comparable to genin-level reflexes.

Konoha was indeed full of "youth."

Chinatsu didn't have time to continue observing this battlefield. She couldn't waste her precious rest time here when she still needed to refine her Mangekyou control and chakra efficiency.

As she walked forward, fate unexpectedly placed two familiar figures in front of her.

Look who's standing there!

Hinata Hyuga and Neji Hyuga!

While Neji wasn't part of Chinatsu's original relationship-building plan, Hinata definitely was. In canon, Hinata was known for her gentle nature and admiration for Naruto, as well as her Byakugan's potential within the Hyuga clan.

Chinatsu remembered clearly how she had once subtly rescued Hinata during an Anbu-related incident, deliberately revealing just enough voice and presence so Hinata would recognize her later and increase affinity naturally.

Now was the perfect opportunity!

Chinatsu put her hands in her pockets, mentally calculating how to approach Hinata naturally without triggering suspicion from Neji, who was still deeply influenced by Hyuga branch-family ideology.

Hinata, walking slowly forward, immediately noticed Chinatsu. That was normal; with her appearance and Uchiha aura, she stood out like a Sharingan in a crowd of Academy students.

"She's an orphan of the Uchiha clan. Just like the rumors say… she's very beautiful."

Neji Hyuga, traveling beside her, glanced at Chinatsu and spoke in a calm tone shaped by his belief in fate and Hyuga clan hierarchy.

"Uchiha… huh?"

Hinata blinked softly, unable to look away from Chinatsu.

This older sister… why does she feel so familiar…?

In less than half a minute, the two were finally about to meet. Chinatsu pursed her lips, preparing a perfectly calculated opening line strategically designed like a mission briefing.

But before she could speak, Hinata unexpectedly stepped forward first.

"Big sister! You're the masked sister who saved me last time… right?! Right?!"
