Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 7

Chapter 7: The Hidden GeniusLightning Release: Chidori.

This is an A-rank assassination technique developed by Kakashi Hatake. By concentrating a large amount of lightning-nature chakra into the palm, the user creates a high-speed piercing attack capable of tearing through most defenses.

Because the condensed lightning chakra emits a sharp, continuous chirping sound—like the cries of a thousand birds—it is named "Chidori."

However, this technique carries a fatal flaw.

Due to the extreme speed of the thrust, the user's field of vision narrows dramatically, making it nearly impossible to react to counterattacks. Without exceptional dynamic vision, the user becomes vulnerable during the charge.

This is precisely why Kakashi himself warned that the technique is incomplete without the Sharingan—only with its predictive vision can one safely utilize Chidori in real combat.

Fortunately, Chinatsu possessed the Sharingan.

Not just that—hers had already matured into the three-tomoe state, the pinnacle of the standard Sharingan before evolving further.

After finishing her training notes, Chinatsu stepped out of her room, ready to put her plans into action.

The first step: evaluate her current capabilities.

This was no simple physical check—it was a comprehensive self-assessment, including stamina, chakra reserves, and, most importantly, chakra control.

To avoid disturbing Sasuke Uchiha—who was still relentlessly practicing the Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique—Chinatsu headed toward a quieter part of the Uchiha compound.

The vast estate provided more than enough space for independent training.

Arriving at an open clearing, she exhaled slowly and took out a handful of shuriken.

The most basic foundation of a ninja.

She chose not to activate her Sharingan.

Focusing purely on instinct and muscle memory, she flicked her wrist.

Whoosh!

The shuriken cut through the air—

Thunk!

A direct hit at the center of the target.

Chinatsu blinked in surprise.

Without hesitation, she drew several more shuriken.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

They scattered in different trajectories—yet all converged perfectly at the bullseye.

"…Perfect control."

Next.

She inhaled deeply and sprinted toward a large tree.

At the moment of impact—

Her foot landed against the trunk.

Then another.

She stood there.

Vertically.

Maintaining a perfect ninety-degree angle with the ground.

This was the fundamental chakra control exercise taught to genin—channeling chakra to the soles of the feet to adhere to surfaces.

And yet—

Her execution was flawless. No wasted chakra. No instability.

"This level of control… I could even walk on water without difficulty."

Next.

Chinatsu conducted several more tests—speed, endurance, chakra output.

Each result exceeded expectations.

The original owner of this body… was a true prodigy.

Based on these abilities alone, she was already approaching the level of a jonin.

If not for the overwhelming shadow of Itachi Uchiha, she might have been the brightest rising star of the Uchiha Clan.

And yet—

Such talent had been confined… forced toward marriage instead of growth.

Chinatsu's hand unconsciously pressed against her chest.

A faint ache lingered there.

She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and steadied herself.

Then—

She raised her hand.

"Chidori."

Lightning chakra surged violently into her palm.

A sharp, piercing chirping filled the air—

Then—

Bang!

The energy dispersed uncontrollably.

Failure.

Chinatsu wasn't surprised.

This was an A-rank technique—far beyond basic ninjutsu. Mastery wouldn't come instantly.

After several more attempts, she began to grasp the core principle.

With enough repetitions… she could learn it.

But then—

A thought crossed her mind.

The Sharingan could replicate most ninjutsu—provided it wasn't tied to a unique bloodline.

If she could witness Chidori being performed…

She could copy it instantly.

"…So I still need exposure to real shinobi."

She tapped her chin thoughtfully.

Staying confined within the compound wouldn't help her grow.

At that moment—

Grrrr…

Her stomach let out a loud protest.

Chinatsu froze.

"…Let's eat first."

Rubbing her stomach, she immediately changed priorities.

After all, no ninja fights well on an empty stomach.

As she stepped outside, a new thought surfaced.

Naruto.

Naruto Uzumaki.

She had been so focused on Sasuke that she had almost forgotten him.

The son of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tailed Fox.

A child meant to be seen as a hero—

Yet treated as a monster.

And Sasuke…

A survivor consumed by loss and revenge.

Even from her perspective as someone who had seen countless stories, their fates were exceptionally tragic.

"…If I get the chance… I should take care of Naruto too."

She murmured softly.

Walking along the streets of Konohagakure, she quickly became the center of attention.

"Look—that's one of the last Uchiha children…"

"Such a pitiful girl…"

"Could someone adopt her?"

"Don't be ridiculous, she's an Uchiha…"

Chinatsu ignored them.

Empty sympathy was more irritating than silence.

Following her memory, she made her way toward a familiar location—

Ichiraku Ramen.

Before she even stepped inside—

A loud, energetic voice rang out.

"Old man! Your ramen is the best as always!"

Chinatsu paused at the entrance.

That voice…

There was no mistaking it.

Naruto.
