Chapter 31 - Chapter 31- Miya Vs G

"Hyeehaaa!"

"This is the power of G!"

Lao G jumped into the air and landed on a kick on Miya, but she managed to block it using her chain.

Lao G coated his leg with Armament Haki and clashed with the chains. Although these chains were hard, his Armament Haki was no joke.

Miya had to pour all of her strength just to block his attacks. But Lao swiftly jumped into the chain and ran towards her.

Miya saw this and immediately dropped the chain, but Lao jumped once more, and his leg swung.

Bang!

Miya was kicked in the face, drawing blood from her mouth as her body flew several meters and slammed into the ground.

'Damn! This old bastard kicks really hard. But I am not a weakling of this sea. There are only seven bullets in my pistol.'

Miya somersaulted, landing on her feet as she ran towards Lao G. While running towards him, she grabbed one end of the chain on the way.

And, grabbed the pistol with the other hand.

She fired three shots with extreme accuracy, but Lao G's Observation Haki managed to see them coming.

As he dodged those attacks, he sensed a powerful whip coming his way and quickly jumped into the air.

Bang!

The chain released the noise of breaking the sound barrier below him before she pulled it in her hand.

[Shave]

Suddenly, she disappeared from his eyesight.

But his Observation Haki gave him a strong sensation from behind. Just as he turned around, he saw a chain coming his way.

This time, he wasn't able to dodge it, or rather, he didn't dodge it.

The chains wrapped around his body, but he instantly coated his entire body with Armament Haki, decreasing the pressure of the chains.

While in mid-air, Miya rotated 360 degrees clockwise while kicking the air. But while she was rotating, she was also launching attacks.

[Rankyaku Sphere]

Nine different slashes came out of her leg, all merging to form a large sphere of slashes as it moved towards Lao.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The sphere collided with his body, but it didn't manage to pierce his Armament Haki, making it almost useless.

"Hehe! Young Lady, your strategy was good, but I possess Haki. There are two kinds of people in the Grandline."

"Those who possess Haki and those who do not. In front of those who possess Haki, anyone who doesn't possess Haki is just a weakling."

Suddenly, his body shivered and got thinner before he escaped the chains.

He landed on the ground and looked up.

"So, are you going to stay in the air or are you going to come down?"

Looking at her, Lao G couldn't help but feel down.

He couldn't fly or use Geppo. So, as long as Miya stayed in the air, he wouldn't be able to fight her.

Miya dropped her Geppo and landed on the ground. She picked up her pistol in one hand and chains in the other.

"Hey, old man! I am not here to stall you. My goal is to defeat you, and I can't do it while standing in the air."

"Yo ho, Young Lady! You do not have the strength to win against me. Because I have the power of G."

Lao G roared, making G posture.

"Are you some kind of idiot?"

Miya couldn't help but feel speechless. But suddenly, she raised her pistol and shot three bullets.

'One left!'

Then, she quickly followed her attack with her chain while putting the pistol in the holster.

Lao G dodged those bullets with ease, but when he saw the whip, he quickly got serious and coated his hands and legs with Armament Haki.

The chains struck with an immense force, but he managed to deflect them. She quickly pulled the other side of the in her left hand.

Holding both sides of the chain, she started fighting in close quarters. Her training with Tyler helped her improve her fighting style.

Now, she could fight long-range and close-range battles. But after all, Lao G was a master martial artist and knew Haki.

Even with her chains, she was being punched and kicked more times than she could land an attack.

And, even when she did, Lao G would simply block it with Armament Haki.

Bang!

Lao's fist landed on her forehead. He was hoping to break her head, but she withstood the punch and used this moment to wrap her chain around his hand.

She skillfully moved the chain around his right hand and followed it to his left hand.

Lao G quickly tried to kick her away, but Miya tanked the kick that almost destroyed her chest.

She rotated her hand, wrapping the rest of the chain around his leg, making it almost impossible for him to move.

But even in one leg, Lao G was a formidable foe. He quickly jumped away to create some distance, but Miya laughed.

"Hey, old man, where do you think you are going?"

She swiftly pulled the chains, without unlocking them. Lao G was pulled back, and the nozzle of the gun was pointing at his forehead.

Bang!

She fired the gun at zero distance, but he managed to block the bullet using his Armament Haki.

"Young Lady, you have truly enraged me."

He started releasing an enormous amount of energy from his body, trying to break these chains.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

While holding the chains with her hand, she jumped and kicked him on the head three times.

At this moment, her body was battered, bruised, and bleeding. She was severely injured, but her enthusiasm for this battle hadn't gone down.

She realized that the energy coming from his body was quickly consuming his Armament Haki.

He couldn't even use it to cover his face, allowing her to cause some damage for the first time.

She then used the remaining chain around her fist and gathered all of her strength into her arm.

When she swung her arm, she wasn't just moving her arm. She was moving his body against his Will, forcefully reaching his face while his body was tied.

Bang!

Her fist, wrapped in chains, punched him so hard that he started bleeding from the face and lost two teeth on the spot.

Bang!

But the next moment, he had gathered enough energy to break her chain. Even though her chain was made from Seastone material, it was still broken.

Nearly half of the chain was still around his body. Only a small part was broken, and that part was connected to her hand.

This gave Lao G a perfect chance to move as he gathered an enormous amount of energy in his fists and punched Miya's chest with both of his fists.

Bang!

Crack!

Miya felt her ribs breaking apart as her body flew back like a cannonball, crashing against several walls before coming to a stop in front of a building.

"Gah!"

"No!" She roared.

She then spat out blood from her mouth. Her body was aching. She barely had any strength to move.

At this moment, Lao G walked towards her with heavy steps. The chains were still on his body. He didn't even bother to remove them.

Although his face was injured, compared to Miya, he was just fine.

"I told you, Young Lady. Between us, the gap is too big. But you were able to damage me; I will give you a proper burial."

"Hey, Old Man!"

Miya slowly got up, but she was only halfway through when she was kicked in the head.

Her forehead struck the ground and started bleeding.

"Hehe! Young Lady, you should just die here. Die!"

Lao G moved his fist, trying to bury her head in the ground, but suddenly, his hand stopped moving.

"Hey, old Man!"

While her face was covered in dirt and blood, she showed a scary smile.

"Did you know? You were supposed to be Frank's enemy. With your strength, you would've destroyed him."

"You are truly strong."

She slowly got up, her knuckles bleeding as she held the short chain in her hand tightly.

"But, I am just too stubborn to die here."

She pulled out the pistol with her other hand and pointed the muzzle at his head.

"Goodbye, Old Man! I will remember you as my strongest enemy."

Bang! Splash!

Lao G didn't even get to speak before she pulled the trigger. The bullet pierced through his head, ending his life on the spot.

Only then did she let go of that chain and fall on her butt.

"Damn, Old Guy! Almost killed me."

Miya muttered before falling on her back.

"Damn! Frank got off easy! That bastard!"

She muttered before closing her eyes, lying on her own blood.

"Damn it, Miya! Couldn't you just let me interfere?"

Adam arrived next to her and quickly raised her in his arms. Looking at her body covered in wounds, he couldn't help but worry.

"Return to the ship first and let Frank handle her wounds! He should know a little bit about bandaging."
