Chapter 52 - Madara alone was more than enough

"Me???"

Uchiha Madara was momentarily stunned. He glanced around and quickly realized that he was the only one wearing a suit.

"Madara, teach them a lesson."

Tatsumaki crossed her arms over her chest, clearly displeased.

"Yes, you. No problem, right, Saint Is?" the Celestial Dragon responded to Madara, then turned his gaze toward Is.

Is shrugged with a faint smile.

"Of course there's no problem."

Although that man's bodyguards were said to be elite fighters selected from the Marines, as a transmigrator, Is had never even heard of them—so they couldn't be anything special.

Madara alone was more than enough to deal with both of them.

"Then let's begin. I can't wait to enjoy this."

The corners of the Celestial Dragon's lips curled upward. Even before the fight started, it seemed he had already imagined the outcome.

"Go on, Madara. No need to hold back on my account. After all, this is a game where the loser dies," Is said calmly.

Madara grinned but said nothing more.

With a single leap, he landed ahead.

The two bodyguards followed, rushing forward as well.

"Begin!"

As the command fell, the one-against-two battle instantly erupted.

"Whoosh!"

Madara vanished from his spot. In the blink of an eye, he appeared in front of one of the Marine bodyguards.

Without hesitation, he grabbed the man by the head and slammed him straight into the stone pavement.

"Boom!"

Dust exploded outward.

"Whoosh!"

A fist coated in Armament Haki came swinging toward Madara.

Madara shifted his body and effortlessly dodged.

"Whoosh!"

Armament Haki instantly coated his own hand. As he evaded, he countered with a punch.

"Bang!"

The punch struck the man square in the abdomen. His eyes bulged, blood sprayed from his mouth, and his entire body was sent flying before crashing heavily into a wall.

The sheer force behind that single blow was obvious.

"Clap, clap."

Madara dusted off his hands and said with disdain,

"Mere sand—hardly worth my notice."

"This… this just happened in a moment… and he already defeated one of the Marine elites?" Dorac stared at Is in disbelief.

The other Celestial Dragons were equally stunned.

For some reason, a thought surfaced in their minds—

Aurelius D. Virel Is and his group were absolute lunatics.

It would be best not to provoke them.

"Elites?" Is sneered. "Saint Dorac, do you have some misunderstanding about what 'elite' means?"

The Celestial Dragon who owned the defeated guard now wore an extremely ugly expression. He glared coldly at Madara.

"Kill them both."

"Are you talking to me?" Madara asked casually.

"I command you—kill them both!" the Celestial Dragon shouted angrily.

Madara's expression darkened.

"You… are not qualified to command me."

"You dare defy me?!"

Enraged, the Celestial Dragon turned to a nearby World Government agent.

"Between me and a commoner, whose dignity matters more?"

"Of course, yours," the agent replied immediately.

"Acnologia, throw that man off Mary Geoise," Is said coldly.

"You dare, Saint Is?!"

Furious, the Celestial Dragon jumped down from his slave and shouted at Is.

Acnologia didn't waste a single word.

The moment Is gave the order, he appeared beside the World Government agent, grabbed him, and sprinted forward before hurling him with full force.

"Whoosh!!"

The agent shot through the air like a cannonball.

"Saint Is! You—"

"Me?" Is stepped closer, his voice icy. "What about me? Didn't he just say that compared to 'commoners,' a Celestial Dragon's dignity matters more?"

As Is approached, the man instinctively stepped back—until he lost his balance and fell onto the ground.

"Look at you. Pathetic. You're disgracing the name of the Celestial Dragons," Is said coldly. "And you dare try to command my people?"

"Saint Is… let it go, let it go…"

Dorac spoke quietly from the side. This was the first time he had seen such a terrifying side of Is.

"Since Saint Dorac asked, I won't pursue it further."

If Dorac hadn't intervened, that man would have likely been beaten half to death.

"Let's go. This is boring."

Is turned and continued forward.

This time, perhaps because they had witnessed Is's frightening side, the remaining Celestial Dragons all dismounted. They walked on foot, leading their slaves, following behind him.

As for the one who had caused trouble—

he naturally did not follow.

After arriving at the Sabaody Archipelago, Tatsumaki, Madara, and Acnologia did not accompany Is to the auction house. Instead, they went off on their own.

Half an hour later, back in Mary Geoise.

Inside a certain castle, the Celestial Dragon who had nearly been beaten by Is stood behind his father, staring at his back.

The moment his father set down the Den Den Mushi, he spoke eagerly,

"Well, Father? That bastard Saint Is killed a World Government agent. He should be punished, right?"

"There's good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear?" his father asked.

"The good news!"

"The good news is—you're lucky Saint Is didn't do anything to you. Otherwise, you'd be in serious trouble."

"????"

"And the bad news?"

"The bad news is—the World Government will not pursue Saint Is for anything."

"But he killed a World Government agent!!!"

"Son… stay away from him in the future," his father said gravely. "The Five Elders have made it clear—do not provoke Saint Is. Otherwise, no one will be able to save you."

Between him and Is—

the Five Elders would choose Is without hesitation.

After all—

Is was someone they intended to cultivate.
