Nina stared at him, her fork hovering in mid-air like a weapon. The nerve of this man! Sitting there looking like a million bucks - or several billion, technically…. with his dark hair still damp, his sleeves rolled up, and that arrogant, maddening smirk plastered all over his face, as though the entire morning were nothing but a game designed purely for his own entertainment.
She could feel her blood pressure climbing with every passing second, and yet some traitorous corner of her mind kept cataloguing the way the morning light caught his jaw.
"You think this is funny?" Nina demanded, her eyes narrowing into dangerous little slits. "You think my concern is some kind of cute little game?"
