The campus, though much quieter at night than during the day, was still dotted with couples. Su Ming and Qin Yuan were one such pair, walking back to the Hundred Flowers Association.
Upon their return, all eyes turned to the couple. Seeing them come back in such good spirits, Tian Keke's gaze was the sharpest. She swept her eyes over them, then sniffed the air around Su Ming. Her expression darkened instantly. Without a word, she sat down.
Su Ming's heart sank. *Women have this side to them too, besides their sharp intuition!* he thought. *She's definitely figured out we have a secret!*
Qin Yuan's face was a complex mix of emotions. She didn't know how to explain, or if it was even possible. *Doesn't this make it look like I'm seducing Tian Keke's boyfriend?**
Tian Keke remained silent, but she understood perfectly that Qin Yuan was in an equally awkward position. If she could, Qin Yuan would have loved to be Su Ming's girlfriend first, to get to know him better and sit beside him in class. That would have increased her chances of being with him and avoided this current embarrassing situation. Qin Yuan's feelings for Su Ming were genuine; he had moved her. A woman's wavering heart rarely gives up easily—some women will even steal a man to secure their happiness.
"Look at you two, having such a lively chat! Tell me, what do women like to talk about?" Su Ming walked over with a grin, sat down beside Tian Keke, and wrapped his arm around her slender waist. But Tian Keke refused, batting his hand away with a look that said, "Don't touch me."
"Roar!" Li Liya let out a playful roar in Su Ming's ear, then giggled. "I won't tell you! Guess for yourself what women talk about—guess, guess, guess!"
Su Ming's ear nearly went deaf. "Guess my ass! Just tell me already! And stop roaring in my ear like that—it's too much! Believe me, I'll punish you if you don't!"
"Hehe! I'm not scared at all! Last time, you were going to punish me, weren't you? Well, look at you—you deserved to be punished back! Serves you right!" Li Liya teased, grinding her tiny teeth.
Li Lili kicked her away in irritation. "I warned you not to mention that again, or I'll get rough with you!"
"Hehe, haha! Embarrassed, are we?" Li Liya deliberately teased.
"You little brat..." The two lolis immediately started throwing punches at each other, neither giving an inch.
Su Ming watched them with a speechless expression but let them fight it out. He glanced at Tian Keke, who still wore a look of rejection when he tried to get close. He sighed helplessly and said, "I'm hungry. How about we go out for some food?"
"Yes, I agree!" Yuan Peipei said with a sweet smile.
Li Yuling nodded slightly. "Let's go to the barbecue joint outside the school for some skewers!"
After leaving the Hundred Flowers Association, Su Ming and the group of beauties headed to the barbecue joint. Qin Yuan remained awkwardly silent, but Lan Wanxi, being more outgoing, was the first to order her favorite skewers.
"Just a moment, we'll have it ready soon!" the owner said with a dazzling smile, then busied himself with the cooking.
Thick smoke billowed from the entrance of the barbecue stall, mingling with the mouthwatering aroma of grilled meat. The irresistible scent made everyone's mouths water.
Wang Xiaomei smiled, her expression pure and gentle. "Su Ming, you were so brave today! You chased away those school bullies. They shouldn't dare harass the Hundred Flowers Association anymore."
"It's nothing, Xiaomei. With me around, those guys won't dare make a peep," Su Ming replied with a manly air.
Beside them, Lan Wanxi pouted sulkily. She had helped too, so why wasn't anyone praising her?
After chatting for a while, the owner brought out the grilled meat. The sizzling skewers and fragrant aroma proved too tempting, and everyone scrambled to grab a bite. Li Liya and Li Lili got into another fight over a spicy skewer, and by the time they finished their brawl, the food was gone. When they realized they'd missed out, they burst into tears and rushed over to bite Su Ming's shoulder, demanding he give them some back.
Su Ming was so frustrated. They really had started to like biting him! He'd have to train them properly when he had the time.
"Junior, eat this skewer for me! I'm already full!" Yuan Peipei handed him a skewer of grilled meat with a smile.
Su Ming accepted it without refusal. He was actually pleased by Yuan Peipei's aversion to waste, a good habit of conserving food.
"Saliva... your saliva is all mixed together..." Li Liya made a cute face of disgust.
Lan Wanxi, seeing this, immediately grew jealous. She took a deliberate bite of her skewer and then offered the rest to Su Ming. "Please eat the rest of mine too. I can't finish."
"Get lost! Do you think I'm a pig?" Su Ming snapped, annoyed by her joining the fun.
"I don't want to waste food! You don't want to see it thrown away, right? Hehe!" Lan Wanxi knew Yuan Peipei's habits well.
Su Ming rolled his eyes and reluctantly took the skewer, eating it along with the first.
Li Yuling, observing their close interaction, also grew envious. "Su Ming, since you can eat so much, why don't you finish mine too?"
"No!" Su Ming refused, dimly realizing that being around so many beautiful women inevitably led to jealousy and envy.
"Are you kidding me? Is my saliva not good enough? You've been swallowing theirs, so why can't you swallow mine?" Li Yuling said coldly.

It was past 10 PM when they finally left the barbecue joint. After saying goodbye to the beauties, Su Ming went to the parking lot to get the car. Tian Keke got in, her lightly made-up but still beautiful face looking unhappy.
As Su Ming drove out of the campus, he said, "Still mad? Women's anger lasts a long time."
"Did you... sleep with her?" Tian Keke blurted out, unable to hold back.
"Not yet," Su Ming replied.
Tian Keke snapped, "Not yet? Does that mean you will later?"
"Uh..." Su Ming said, "Don't overthink it. It's really not what you're imagining."
"Hmph. If you're telling the truth, then where did that perfume on you come from?" Tian Keke asked, barely restraining her temper.
Silence. Su Ming was silent.
After a moment, Su Ming said, "I must have accidentally picked up that female doctor's perfume at the school infirmary."
"Oh my god! You slept with Tang Liuxia?" Tian Keke exclaimed in shock.
Su Ming forced a wry smile. "I wish I had. The problem is, she gave me a forceful injection and it still hurts. Does that make you feel better?"
"Hehe! It does!" Tian Keke dropped the subject and said, "Let's go check on my mom's supermarket. I wonder how business is today!"
On Baohua Street, Su Ming parked the car in front of the supermarket and walked in hand-in-hand with Tian Keke. They found Tian Mengni cleaning the store.
