Chapter: Say It Again
Jayjay's POV
I wake up to warmth.
Not the blanket.
Not the sunlight.
Him.
Keifer's arm is wrapped around my waist, holding me close like it's the most natural thing in the world. I shift slightly, then turn to face him.
He's already awake.
Watching me.
"Morning, wifey," he says softly.
I freeze.
"What did you just call me?" I whisper.
"Relax," he replies calmly. "I can call you that."
"You can't just decide that," I mumble, hitting his arm lightly.
He doesn't react. He just keeps looking at me.
"Call me hubby."
I blink.
"No."
"Say it."
"Keifer, stop."
I try to turn away, but he pulls me back gently, his arm tightening around my waist.
"Say it," he insists again, quieter this time.
"You're so annoying," I mutter.
He doesn't move. Doesn't argue. Just waits.
That makes it worse.
My face warms under his gaze. After a few seconds, I sigh.
"…hubby."

Keifer's POV
For a second, everything in me stills.
She said it.
I didn't expect it to actually affect me like this.
But it does.
Before I can stop myself, I bury my face into her neck, hiding the sudden warmth on my face.
"You're unfair," I mutter quietly.

Jayjay's POV
I blink.
"…you're blushing?" I whisper.
He doesn't answer. His arms just tighten around me.
A small smile forms on my lips.
"Ahh… so hubby is shy now?" I tease softly 🤭🤍
"Stop talking," he mutters.
But he doesn't move away.
And I don't push him.
We stay like that for a while.
Quiet.
Close.
Comfortable.

[Author's POV]
By the time they come downstairs, the house is already loud.
Jare, Ciel, Aries, and the others are at the table.
Lia is there too.
Jay tries to act normal.
Keifer doesn't.
He sits beside her, close enough to make it obvious.

[Keifer's POV]
I glance at Jare.
"Jare."
He sighs. "What now?"
I say it simply.
"Jay called me hubby this morning."

[Jayjay's POV]
I almost choke.
"KEIFER—!"
My face burns instantly.
"He forced me!" I say quickly, pointing at him.

[Author's POV]
Jare straightens.
"Bro, what??"
Ciel leans forward. "She did what?"
Aries laughs. "No way."
Keifer stays calm.
"You still said it."

[Jayjay's POV]
"He BLUSHED after!" I add immediately.

[Author's POV]
That makes everyone pause.
Jare slowly turns. "He what?"
Ciel narrows her eyes. "Keifer?"
Aries laughs louder. "The ice guy blushed?"
"I didn't," Keifer replies.
"You hid your face in my neck," Jay shoots back.
Jare bursts out laughing. "He hid??"
"This is real?" Ciel adds.

Lia speaks then, her tone light.
"You two are very loud this morning."

[Jayjay's POV]
I notice the way Lia leans slightly toward him.
Close.
Comfortable.
It makes something in my chest tighten.
But I don't say anything.
"You embarrassed me," I mutter.

[Keifer's POV]
"You started it," I reply.
"You forced me."
"You didn't resist much."
"I did."

[Author's POV]
Jare groans. "This is not a fight. This is flirting. Let me eat in peace."
Jay stands up abruptly.
"I'm doing dishes."
She walks to the sink and turns on the tap.
A second later, Keifer is right behind her.
He wraps his arms around her waist.

[Jayjay's POV]
I freeze.
"Keifer… let go."
"No."
I try to move, but he holds me a little tighter.
Still gentle.
Still not letting go.
"Let me go," I say louder.
Nothing.
I turn my head slightly, frustration slipping out.
"MARK KEIFER WATSON, LET ME GO!"

[Author's POV]
There's a moment of silence.
Then Jare bursts out laughing.
"He got full name-ed!"
Ciel leans back, grinning. "She's serious now."
Aries is already laughing uncontrollably.

I pause slightly.
"You don't need to shout," I say quietly.
But I don't let go.

"Then let go nicely," I mutter.

"No."

From the table, Jare adds, "The one everyone's afraid of is scared of his own wife."
Keifer shoots him a sharp glare.
"Say that again."
Jare immediately shuts up.
Keifer loosens his hold slightly—
but doesn't let go completely.
Jay doesn't move away this time.
And neither does he.
