Chapter 76 - Report 67- Surprise

The day Albert and Mélusine went out and robbed the bank Aizawa met with Nezu.

"I thought you would be at home sleeping, Aizawa." Nezu said sitting on his high chair at his desk. "You took the whole week off."

"Sorry about that, I cut my vacation short." Aizawa bowed for the sudden return.

"So what brought the vacation to an early end?"

"Before I say, can you promise me as a principal and as a hero that you would keep this between us?"

Aizawa had a solemn and serious tone. Nezu nodded.

"Of course."

"I was investigating Albert."

Nezu was frozen for a but a moment. His brain fired off working at its highest capabilities.

"I… what?" Nezu couldn't find the right words, what could he even say to this?

"Let me explain."

Aizawa explained what lead him to investigate and what he discovered. Nezu of course could only grab his head as cold blood ran through his veins.

"Are you okay, principal?" Aizawa asked noticing his demeanor.

"Ugh… To think Albert was the son of Star and Stripe."

"You sound like had an idea of Albert's…" Aizawa's eyes widen as he made a deduction on the worlds smartest rat. "You knew."

"… Yes." He gave a lowly nod. "Ever since the Sports Festival when Albert's handler came to see him participate."

"How much do you know?"

"I know that Albert was originally given the name Adam #101522. Since he is the one-hundred-and-one-thousand-five-hundred-twenty-two child born of the Adam's Project."

Hearing the number and what it meant made Aizawa's blood run as cold as ice, his stomach began to churn as well by the sheer amount of lives… cultivated and lost.

"S—so he has over one hundred thousand brothers?"

"Sort of, those born as male are named Adam while the females are named Lilith's. There has been over one hundred thousand children born from this project to just create the perfect human. As far as I know Albert is the final product of hundreds of years of eugenics. They have several branches but the main two are Adam and Lilith."

Aizawa understands why Cathleen told him to inform Nezu, as one who was born and raised in a lab being poked and prodded he would be the only person who would understand Albert and empathize with him.

"I… have you talked with Albert? Is that even the name he really goes by?"

"He says the name is fine, he's grown and trained to discard names, so Albert is what he goes by. And I have talked with him. He is… in a precarious situation." He made a pain expression. "Tsuyu Asui. How is she?"

"She is not doing good. This is eating away at her, she really likes Albert, and she doesn't know what to do."

Nezu had only one thought, it was fucked. Absolutely fucked.

"Give me a minute to think." Nezu closed his eyes and ran through every possibility with all that he was told. "Ah!" He found a way. "From what you told me no one, but Albert knows what truly happened to Mirio Togata! Only that Albert brought his body out of a building before it exploded!"

"Yeah but there is tracking data of him has him at the locations, he killed several criminals. Not to mention the weapons he has."

"Aizawa do you really care if he killed some criminals?"

"… Yes." He said as if it was a rhetorical question. "As a Pro-Hero we can't just take the law into our own hand and due out justice."

"Aizawa, I fully understand what you say, but it means absolutely nothing to Albert or even me. You must understand that Albert fought and killed the man who gave Toshi his injury. He must be taken away from America's grasp. You know in our life time how much they have grown."

"I understand Principal, but he shouldn't—"

"I want him to live the life he wants." Nezu cuts him off. "I can't begin to imagine what they made Albert do to bring about a second damn Roman Empire!? The amount of bodies stacked to form hills, the blood spilled to make rivers and even fill oceans, the amount of legislation he help passed by blackmailing a politician or two that resulted in the deaths and displacement of hundreds to millions of people. He has only finally began to try and break away from his captors, I am doing all that I can to help him break from his chains just as I have."

Aizawa remained quiet for a while before speaking again.

"What is Albert doing now?"

"… From what he told me he is going undercover to infiltrate the League of Villains to try and find any traces of who killed Sir Nighteye."

"I see. So can I ask why he even appeared here at U.A.?"

"He came here to kill a very special individual, he already succeeded in that."

"So I can take it that he has taken on the role of a student in order to kill them? How do you know if he isn't just continuing it for some other mission that possibly involves this school potentially?" Aizawa had doubt in his heart of Albert's intentions.

"You have doubts about it Aizawa?"

"I do. Kinda hard not to if maybe he is still comes to school for some ulterior motive like maybe tying up some loose ends on the people who know of his background."

"Hahahahaha!" Nezu laughed out loud at the notion. "Aizawa, if that were true I and Toshi would be dead by now. You understand how absurd Albert is?"

"And I have Erasure. I can simply stop him from using his Quirk—Wait is his Quirk even a Mutant-Type?"

"… Hm?" Nezu didn't even think of this. "I… don't know actually. On paper it says his Quirk is called Perfect Body but… Hm." Nezu was now puzzled at what could constitute enough to make Albert the perfect human?

"In any case we will need to have a talk with him eventually. Asui's condition will only get worse."

"… You are right." Nezu nodded. "We will have to talk it out eventually. This matter is serious. And… if it goes well maybe he and her will be closer."

"Closer? Do you want the two to be a couple or something?"

"Yes." Nezu didn't hide his intentions. "He needs a sincere human connection he can trust. He has never had a genuine human connection and any that he did have are most likely dead or stained by the old and wealthy adults he met in his—Oh fuck." He had a realization. "She gave him a gift that was a tracker."

"… Fuuuuuuuuck."

The two heroes covered their eyes in this bad situation.

"I guess we just have to stack the deck as much as we can." Nezu said.

"Should… should we invite his mother?" Aizawa said. "I would imagine it would be a good way to soften or probably ensure nothing goes wrong?"

"I will see about it. We can't make too much noise or else the U.S. will come baring down on us. On a sidenote. Do you happen to have the device that tracks Albert's GPS?"

Aizawa ruffles through his pants and hands Nezu the device.

"Here. What are you going to use that for?"

Nezu began to examine and turn on the device and check its contents.

"Just… a curious thought." Nezu's eyes remain steady.

He saw all of Albert's movements. He noticed the straight lines across the city and assumed it was Albert moving with the help of Lancer. His eyes slightly twitch when he saw that dot representing Albert go from the warehouse Mirio died right towards Nighteye's office.

"Have you seen everywhere Albert went on this device?"

"Honestly no. When I saw the location and my student's face… I… hard locked on figuring out who they are. Both for her and the class. So I didn't look at his entire history. Why? Did he go to some—"

Nezu clenched the device tightly.

"… He has been very busy. The U.S. government has kept him busy. Causing trouble for villains and criminals. I will destroy this and I will try and get the tracker in the gift from miss Tsuyu Asui."

'He… I can't let him stay with them. If things go wrong…' Nezu felt chills run down his back. 'Albert could very well fully drown himself in villainy and then… untold cataclysm.'

This is a secret Nezu will keep to the grave. Both for Albert and for—

'Toshi… I am so sorry.'

His friend.

Elsewhere Albert and Mélusine were on a crime spree in another city. They ran wild before a team of Pro-Heroes came onto the scene.

"Stop right there!!" Shouted Edgeshot, the No.5 Pro-Hero, he is a slim and muscular man with gray hair shaped into three sharp points that cover the right side of his face and dark gray eyes, and he wears a mask over his lower face. His attire is like that of a ninja.

"They are so fast!!" Shouted Mt. Lady, a curvaceous young woman who has purple eyes with white pupils creamy blonde hair reaching down to her waist with two shorter strands curled to frame her face, parted slightly to her right. She wears a skintight bodysuit that can adjust to her growth in height which currently is 67'8ft (2062cm).

"Her fire is to intense I can't get close!" said Kamui Wood, a young man with a rather muscular build who wears a helmet for most of the time.

"Blue their really persistent." Mélusine said looking at them with her back against Albert.

Albert glanced back to see Mt. Lady running after them with her two team members riding on her shoulders.

"This reminds me of Jurassic Park." Albert commented before looking back on the road.

"Hahaha! Your right! This is like Jurassic Park!"

"The hells Jurassic Park!?" Mt. Lady exclaimed.

"It's a classic movie released before the emergence of Quirks." Edgeshot answered. "You can watch it free on—"

"NOWS NOT THE TIME!!" Mt. Lady shouted.

While they were momentarily distracted Albert took a sharp turn around going under Mt. Lady, he extended his hand as he was going under her and sliced into the side of her right foot. Mélusine also used her breath to boost their speed while also setting Mt. Ladies left foot on fire.

"GYAAAAAH!!!" She shouted out in pain as she shrinks down to her normal height as she rolls and holds her feet.

"Yu!!" Kamui Wood shouted as he grabs her out of the melted asphalt.

"Dammit!!" Edgeshot shouted as the two got away.

"Better luck next time!!" Mélusine shouted.

In their crime spree they hit four jewelry stores, Albert hated the manufactured shortage of diamonds when they can be made so cheaply, and the largest banks in Japan, he is not a fan of banks who can play with peoples livelihoods and then get bailouts for their fuck ups. They of course drew the eye of many heroes, but the now named Dragon Couple were too fast and fierce for them.

"We sure did get a lot of loot." Mélusine said checking the bags.

"A lot, we had to hide them in the sewers, they smell horribly." Albert said carrying several bags of money and jewels that stack past the height of trees.

"We should make the money bed bigger—"

Suddenly the two froze on the spot. He looked ahead at their base. They could feel some animal? Creature? Existence, occupying their abandoned factory.

"… Is this how others feel when we put out an intimidating vibe?" Albert asked.

"Yes, but I would say ours is more malicious and imposing, this one is…" Mélusine could only compare it to one other. "Not so cold, but just as regal, overwhelming, a… hm?" There was something else, but she can't quite tell.

"Then I guess we might as well take a look?" He dropped the bags and looked at Mélusine. "If worse comes to worse I can just use a command spell so we can get away."

"And what of the gear? They are too valuable to be abandoned?"

"Our safety is far better, so I will take the lead, and you go from the back."

"Got it!" Mélusine then returned to her Spiritual Body and left.

Albert walks towards the door to his base, he begins to reinforce himself as he turns the knob. He opens the door to see sitting on the couch watching the TV a woman who looks to be a teenager, 16 to 17 years of age. She has shoulder-blade long golden blonde hair wearing rather fine clothing, a white and black dress with gold accents. It looks like it could be used for grand events and battle with her brown boots which she has kicked up on the coffee table.

Seeing her Albert felt their body telling them to either run or kneel. This presence wasn't domineering or oppressive but overwhelming like he was dropped at the bottom of the sea.

"LAN—"

"Shhh." She raised her finger to her lips.

___!

The whole area went dead silent. She then opened her stretched out her arms to the two sides of the couch and patted the empty spots. Albert then appeared sitting right next to her on the couch.

"There much better." Said the woman as she returned sound to the area.

"Uhh…" Albert glanced around to see Mélusine on the other side of the couch as well looking confused.

"Hold on a second." The woman said as she focused on the show playing on the TV with her piercing red eyes, she had a soft smile.

'Mel what just happened?'

'I-I don't know!? I was sneaking and then I heard your voice and then just as I was going into my physical form I just appeared here!?'

'So you have an idea on who she is?'

Mélusine glanced at her and had only one thought, overwhelming calamity.

"I know you have questions, but they can be answered later." She responded as if she could read their minds. "I can hear you two conversing with one another through your links as Master and Servant."

"Ah—"

'Fuck!' They both said.

The two remained quiet until the show she was watching ended.

"Now we can talk." She moved her hands and with wave of her hands everything changes.

Whoosh~

Whoosh~

Albert and Mélusine blink, they swallow their saliva as they stand in a field of pale flowers the flow with the light of the full moon that hands over them illuminating a castle of indescribable beauty and art. The closes word Albert could shamefully describe it, "Alien".

"T-this…" Mélusine is covered in her own mana burst, she transforms into her full battle attire. "We need to run now—"

Rattle-Rattle-Rattle~!

Chains shoot out from the field of flowers chaining Mélusine to the ground.

"Lancer!!" Albert quickly rushed over to her and tried to break her free.

"You cannot not break those chains."

Albert turned to see that woman again, with the new location she looks to be perfect for this place, like a fish swimming in water, a bird flying through the air, she just fits.

"Who the fuck are you!" he also uses mana burst as gives off the aura of a Beast.

"Hmm…" She raises her arm, she moves her hand around like she is feeling the texture of Albert's aura. Her piercing red eyes look to even be able to see the unseeable. "Still a Juvenile, but with a mix of human and dragon—Albion? That is quite an interesting mix." She looked up at Albert and Mélusine with a soft expression, her eyes turn into slits.

"Ahh…" They felt themselves calm down.

Sure enough a ding rung in Albert's head.

[Ding! Soul has been unlocked! Ding! Mystic Eyes Resistance skill added!]

Albert felt his soul get stronger, more robust.

"Hm!" Albert regained some control over his emotions. "W—what did you do?" He asked fighting to take back how he feels.

[Ding! Soul rank increased! Mystic Eyes Resistance rank increased!]

The more Albert fights back the more his skills will increase.

"Hmm…" The woman smiles satisfied by what she saw, her eyes return to a normal pupil. "These were my Mystic Eyes of Enchantment. I wanted to see if what Old Man Kischur said of you was right."

"Kischur?" Albert and Mélusine said.

They both settle somewhat after hearing her refer to Kischur as old man, it gives off a sense of familiarity.

"You know him?" Mélusine asked when she remembered. "You… are you the special person he mentioned?"

"Possibly." The woman answered. "There are other special people still running around the world. Like those sisters, one forever exploring and getting into trouble, the other also traveling around and causing trouble, for a while now she has been spending a lot of time in South America. Then there is that grave-keeping-detective, sad as she may be with a face not even her own she keeps alive the memory of her beloved one."

"… Okay?" Albert answered not knowing how he should responded or even say. "So what is your name?"

"My name is… Hm. Can't use that name anymore, they longed died with him." She shook her head. "Call me TypeEarth, the Ultimate One of Earth." Her lips curled into a half-smile.
