A few days later after the exams everyone returned to dorms.
"Ahh… I wish we could have stayed longer." Mélusine said laying on Albert's bed. "That sushi was good, especially that soy sauce!" She got up and looked to Albert. "You have to buy some!"
"I did not think you would drink the stuff." Albert said sitting down on his reclining chair and turning on the TV. "The whole place looked at you while you drank the soy sauce straight from the bottle. I didn't think I could feel a high blood pressure watching you drink soy sauce."
It was a sight to see. Even the staff stopped what they were doing as they saw this pretty woman just chug straight soy sauce from the bottle. Even more amazing is that she asked for another bottle.
"It is very delicious! And I want some in your room so I can have a nice drink!"
"Soy sauce will not be your main source of hydration!"
"I am a dragon!" She argued. "I say what will be my hydration! And I want soy sauce!"
"You are like a hundred years old act your fucking age!"
"Well as an adult I will do what I want and if I want to drink soy sauce instead of water then I will do it!"
"Not with my money you aren't!"
"You must provide for your servant, Albert!"
"You live off my mana! Drinking and eating is more of a pass time or hobby!"
"Albert."
"Mélusine."
Albert turns and looks at her. Mélusine in turn looks at him. The master and servant stare into one another eyes before Albert blinks. He felt something scratch against his eyes which caused him to lose.
"God fuck!" He rubbed his eyes.
"Hm! Hm! Lets go buy some right now!"
"That's cheating! I know you use those quote unquote scales of yours!"
"… Nuh-uh!"
"… You owe me a rematch when I get back."
"Fine! I'll still win!"
Albert gets up and grabs his wallet and leaves for the store. As he arrives at the first floor he saw most of his class relaxing in the common area.
"Albert. Ribbit."
He looks to his side to see Asui.
"Asui." He nods.
"Do you wanna join us? We are gathering around and drinking tea or hot chocolate."
"Maybe later. I'm going to the store to buy some stuff."
"C-can I come with you?"
"!" All the girls glanced at their direction.
"Sure." He gives a smile and a nod.
The two leave to the convenience store. All the girls quickly rush to the window to see the two walking side by side.
"Were are gonna follow them right?" said Ashido.
"Hmm… I don't think so." Momo responded. "Knowing Albert he probably would notice us quickly."
"What are you guys doing?" asked Tenya.
"Nothing!" They all responded while going back to where they were.
The walk to the convince store was a quite one.
"So where did you go after the exam?" Asui asked. "You didn't come with us on our way back from it?"
"Oh I was in the mood for some sushi, never really had it before but I had a craving and thought why not treat myself."
"Ribbit. I see."
"I'll be sure to invite you next time." He lightly bumped her shoulder.
Asui smiled with a faint blush.
"I'll hold you to it, Albert. Say uh, could you help me improve my fighting? Like before?"
"Not a problem."
'Today!' Asui knew what she wanted. She wanted to be close with Albert. 'Today I will ask him! I don't wanna wait until it's too late! I even learned English for this day!'
Ever since their little date a while back before they started high school the girl Tsuyu Asui decided to learn English to surprise Albert. Before it was to surprise him but as they spent more time together and seen him in action Asui certainly fell for him. So she learned English to confess to him and though she may be a bit rough she can more or less understand it.
They arrived at the convenience store Albert bought some drinks and some bottles of soy sauce.
"You sure are buying a lot of soy sauce. Ribbit." Asui notice he bought five bottles.
"Haha, yeah I kinda got a taste for it." Suddenly his phone rang. "Hm?" Albert checked to see who it was.
Asui glanced to see it was his father. Albert answered his phone.
"Yeah, what up dad, just buying some stuff." Albert replied in English.
Asui noticed a very light twitch of his eyes. Along with understanding what he said for the most part she began to question if Albert and his father get along at all. She noticed how he was when he came for the sports festival.
'I guess they're on amicable terms.'
"Sorry Asui could you go to check out? I need to take this call?" He said covering his phone.
"Hm." She nodded. "No problem."
"Thank you." He handed her more than enough to buy the stuff.
Albert walked out of the convenience store to take his call. Asui bought everything and went to meet up with Albert.
Yet when she walked out she heard Albert speaking in English to his father. Asui was a bit proud she learned enough of English to follow along Albert's conversation.
"Really? Another job?"
"?" Asui's ears perked, her eyes slightly widened.
'Another job!? W-would he move away or transfer!?'
"Hmm… Tch. Come on Handler we are going with this? Did the government sign off on it?"
'W-what is this conversation? Did I get that right—'
"Is this not what you wanted? Me having a little rebel—Hah." He let out a large sigh. "Fine. I will go and do the job. Just kill them and make it look like it was the League of Villains right?"
Asui's body shuddered a bit.
'I-I think I didn't get that right! Hm! Yeah I am sure I translated it wrong…'
"Yeah, I'll go later tonight. My gear is too far, so I'll make due with what is there. You said this place is another warehouse-like place where they keep some guns and stuff, right? I'll handle it. Yes I know it is to draw them out I'll do it already." He ends his call and turns around. "Sorry about that." he resumed talking in Japanese. "Shall we go?"
"H-hm!" She nodded.
'Tonight… tonight I need to be sure!'
Her plans where put on hold. She hopes she just mistranslated. The two of them return back to the dorm as the sun sets.
When they arrived the girls came up to Asui and asked.
"So?" asked Ashido. "Did you do it?"
"I um lost my nerve!" Asui gave a light smile. "I'm going to bed early, I'm a bit tired."
Asui excused herself and left to her room. But once she got to her room she got out of her room through the veranda and carefully went over on top where Albert's room was. Considering they are both on the fifth floor it was easy for her and to make sure she isn't caught she camouflage into the roof.
Her being able to camouflage herself from her training to master this ability. She didn't have many opportunities to use it.
Asui lay on top of that room laying as still as can be until she heard Albert's veranda window open, and she watched him leave, running with speed and finesse to not make a sound.
With every step he takes Asui's heart strains.
