Chapter 64 - Report 55- Provisional Hero License Exam (1)

Some days later, Class 1-A were heading to the test site for the Provisional Hero License. After some time of preparations the class felt rather confident in acing it.

The class gets off the bus and Aizawa gestures to the arena behind him.

"So here we are." Aizawa said. "The test site is here at the National Takoba Arena."

"Any clues on what the test may be?" Albert asked.

"Can't say, it changes every year. Anyway. I have faith in all of you to pass the test and take a step in being an actual pro-hero."

"Then let's give it our all!!" Shouted Kirishima. "All together now! PLUS!!"

As everyone was about to shout the school's motto someone else stepped in.

"ULTRA!!!" Shouted a tall boy with a white buttoned up shirt and a black cap.

"?" Class 1-A looked at the guy with confusion.

"Inasa it's bad manners to just intrude on another's huddle." Said another boy with the same attire as Inasa, the boy who interrupted Kirishima.

"Ah!" Inasa jolted a bit. "I am so!!" He moved his body widely. "Very!!" He tucked his arms to his side and bowed headfirst into the ground. "SORRY!!!"

Everyone was offput by his enthusiastic apology. Even Albert found him to have way too much energy. Everyone began to murmur, and their identity was revealed upon closer inspection of the student.

"Oh those uniforms!"

"Yeah they must be from the west!"

"Shiketsu High!"

Shiketsu High is the second best hero school in the county, right behind U.A.

"One of the few elite hero courses to rival U.A.!"

"Haha!" Inasa rose up from the ground with a bloody forehead. "I just always wanted to try saying Plus Ultra at least once!!!" He proclaimed. "I freaking love U.A. High! I feel incredibly honored to compete alongside the fine students of U.A.!"

"Well isn't that lovely." Albert walked up to him with his patented lighthearted smile. "Nice to meet you, Inasa." Albert extended an arm to the enthusiastic fan.

Inasa took a second to look at Albert then to Todoroki and then back to Albert.

"Hm! I have seen you during the Sports Festival! I am a fan, Hiroyuki Albert!" He smiles brightly showing off his pearly whites. "I am Inasa Yoarashi!"

Albert replied in kind with a smile of his own.

"Nice knowing you Inasa Yoarashi." Albert nodded. "I wish you good luck."

"Good luck to you as well!"

The two return their hands back to their sides and walked back to their respected groups.

"Albert." Aizawa spoke up. "I know you are strong, but he is also very strong, his grades were high enough for him to come to U.A. under special recommendation."

"Then I will keep that in mind." Albert turned to Tenya. "Ida, lead the way, our class president."

"Hm!" He smiled and nodded. "Let's go everyone! PLUS!!" He shouted.

"ULTRA!!!" the rest of the class shouted as they all went to the test site.

"Eraser! Is that really you!"

"!!" Suddenly everyone stopped and looked to their teacher.

They saw a young, athletic woman with sea-green hair with a bandana.

"Geh!" Aizawa shuddered when he saw her.

"Let's get married!" She pointed at him and her.

"No I'm good." Aizawa relied flatly.

"Booo!!!" The boys of his class shouted.

"Marry that beauty!" Shouted the purple one.

"You call yourself a man!" shouted Denki.

"This will be your only shot at marriage!" Albert shouted.

"HAHAHA!!" the woman laughed boisterously. "I like your students Eraser!" She kept her big happy smile.

"Class she is the Smile Hero, Ms. Joke, she is only saying this to get a reaction out of me." Aizawa answered. "She doesn't actually love me in that way."

"You cruel harpy!" Shouted Albert.

"How dare you play with sensei's emotions!!" shouted Denki.

"Can I marry you instead!" The purple one shouted.

"HAHAHA!!" She laughed out loud again, amused by Aizawa's class. "They're really funny!"

"Alright lets go." Aizawa hurried along with his class behind him. "I don't want her to keep hurting my feelings."

"Boo! Boo!!" The classed booed as they followed their teacher.

"Come on! Wait! I wanna show you my students!" She said still smiling.

The class left before she could introduce them.

They got everything finished and entered the arena. They all got into a room filled with other students in their hero costumes.

"Were packed in like sardines." Uraraka said.

"I know." Tenya said. "There is barely enough room to even turn around."

From the side a man walked out, his face showed how exhausted he was. He walked up to the podium and spoke.

"Right.. right the Provisional License Exame… god I am tired." He let out his true feelings. "H-hi I am Mera from the Heroes Public Safety Commission, god I wanna go to bed, I had to pull so many overnighters. We are so short staffed."

Everyone felt bad for the guy.

"R-right uh, getting to it all 1,541 examinees present will be competing in one massive free-for-all exercise!"

The room filled with murmurs.

'This will be easy.' Albert thought to himself.

"Yeah, yeah. Due to the whole Stain Incident this test we will be testing you all on speed, the only the first 100 examinees to meet the requirement will pass."

Even more murmurs filled the room with some complaints.

"That's not even half!!"

"That is so unfair!!"

"And so is life." Mera said not caring. "Now the passing requirements…" he reached down and pulled out two items, a flat disc-like object, and a ball. "Involve these. Each person will get three targets, place them wherever you like on your body so long as they are exposed, so no bottom of the foot, no armpits, and no under your clothes. Everyone will carry six balls. The targets are rigged to light up only when struck by a ball. You all will need to defeat two other examinees…"

Albert began to nod off. He heard all he needed to know. Thankfully he didn't have to sleep for long as the walls around them fall over to reveal a wide array of environments. It had an urban area, a mountainous area, an industrial area, a water area, a high-rise area and many more.

"Oy." Albert spoke to his peers. "I will be going alone. I will be a massive target."

"Tch." Bakugo clicked his teeth. "You better not lose."

"Ribbit. Take care." Asui said.

Albert got his items and placed his markers over his heart, his forehead, and one at the base of spine. Albert quickly rushed to the tallest building in the high-rise area. It was the best place for him as it provided a lot of opportunities for him to fight with.

"Three!!"

Albert could see plenty of the students giving chase to him. They were really trying to catch up, Albert need only glance back once to see the intense envy, a little bit of fear, and a lot of focus.

"Two!!"

Albert only rushed ahead faster, he broke through a window and began to go up the floors like a mad dog. He kicked off the guardrails of the emergency stairs straight to the top.

"One!!"

Albert pulled himself up to the top with ease using the handrailing's for footing.

"START!!"

Albert jumped through another window. He looked down to see a group chasing after him still on the ground level. His eyes darted and calculated the trajectory of where he was gonna aim and the strength needed to do this.

"Heh!" Albert grinned as he tossed his balls in the air and with all of his limbs shot and threw them at the group.

BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE-BOUNCE!!!

The balls struck the buildings, struck each other as they ricocheted down to the bottom where the other students eyes widen and were eliminated by Albert's calculated strikes.

All the teachers from the stands stood up in awe. Not even a minute into the start of the exam and a student already eliminated a class of students. This feat alone could only be described as fantastical by how absurd one needs to be to be able to pull it off so quickly.

"… Holy shit." Ms. Joke for the first time didn't have a smile. She turned to Aizawa, who she sat nearby had a smile that was normally on Ms. Joke's face.

"Heh!" Aizawa looked to Ms. Joke and chuckled. "That is pretty funny!"

Despite the smile on his face Aizawa did feel genuinely a bit scared of Albert. This Quirk of his, this talent… it is like a perfectly cut and polished diamond fell onto his lap.

Mera spoke up through the speakers.

"O-One student has already passed!! Eliminating 19 students with only his six balls at the first 30 seconds of the exam starting! My god this certainly woke me up!"

"!!!" Everyone but Class 1-A shuddered at the announcement.

The class expected Albert to overperform. If they saw the recording of it even they will be left in awe.

"Go! Go!" Midoriya shouted. "Stick together and win!! Albert has given us precious time while they are stunned!"

"Right!"

As for Albert he hurried along to the top of the building with a helicopter pad.

"Ah. This is a nice view!" He looked out to see a sea of chaos. "What do you think, Mel?"

"I am very impressed!" Mélusine said in her spiritual body. "I am amazed by how you bounce things off one another! But I felt bad how you assaulted that group with a 360 degree barrage."

"They went after me, they are lucky I threw the balls at them and not up close and personal."

"True but—Oh hey someone is moving the wind."

Albert look to his side to see a swirl of wind collecting balls.

"Hm, impressive."

Albert watched the one causing the wind, Inasa move and throw all the balls at a sea of students.

"Very impressive."

Mera then chimed in.

"120 examinees are out!! Taken down by a single fighter!"

Beep-Beep!

"Hm?" Albert looked to the marker on his chest as all three glow green.

"You've passed, so please proceed to the reception room, quickly now."

"Damn, I wanted to see more fights."

Albert went to the reception room and got some food, some water and rested a bit before Inasa entered.

"Albert!" He spotted him immediately.

"Sup." Albert waved at him as he came up to him.

"You are very impressive! Though I got more out than you, you did it so early and quickly!"

"Ah so you were the wind person, pretty impressive, good use of your Quirk."

"Thank you! I did wish to chase after you, but I wanted our meeting to be grander!"

"How kind of you. It would be a damn shame if I eliminated such a worthy rival."

Inasa smiled even wider. He let out a brief chuckle.

"Coming from you I am happy at the very least that you see me as a rival! I would think those from U.A. who are strong would be more… how do I put this…"

While Inasa was looking for the word, Albert went ahead and said it.

"Assholes? Yeah. One of them is. Bakugo. Todoroki is somewhat chill."

Inasa made somewhat intense expression at Albert.

"Shoto Todoroki. I would think he is like his father."

"Well I don't really hang out much with him, but from what my friend said he has gotten more sociable after the Sports Festival. Also he seems to have some daddy issues."

"Daddy issues?"

"Yeah. Met Endeavor and I gotta say not a good dad to be raised by."

Inasa sat on that thought for a while. He seemed to have digested that and nodded.

"I see."

Albert talked with Inasa for a bit before he excused himself and nodded off. Many more entered the area and saw Albert sleeping. They didn't bother to wake him, mostly out of fear and respect.
