Chapter 1: Ryūjin Jakka — Heaven-Piercing Flames

West Blue, Minion Island.

A brutal battle over the Ope Ope no Mi (Surgery Fruit) was unfolding.

On the snow-covered ground, Doflamingo toyed with the heart-shaped fruit in his hand and laughed maniacally.

"Corazon, tell me where Law is… or else…!"

He raised one hand toward the sky.

"Everyone on this island will die because of you!"

Countless sharp, unbreakable white strings erupted from Doflamingo, rooting themselves across the entire island. More strings rained down from above. Anyone touched by the strings lost control of their bodies — raising fists or blades to slaughter each other without mercy.

Those lucky enough to avoid the strings tried to flee through the cage, only to be sliced apart by the razor-sharp threads. In an instant, the island turned into a hellish battlefield of carnage.

Blood stained the pure white snow, forming frozen rivers of crimson.

"Birdcage…!" Corazon's pupils shrank in horror.

As a Marine undercover agent, he knew exactly how ruthless his brother could be. Doflamingo was fully capable of carrying out the threat — and even if Corazon told him the truth, he would likely go back on his word anyway.

But the justice burning in his chest wouldn't let him cross that line.

"Is there really no other way…!!"

Corazon lay helplessly on the ground, riddled with bullets, clinging to life with nothing but sheer willpower.

But what good was it now?

"Law…!"

The light in Corazon's eyes began to fade.

Suddenly—

A massive pillar of nameless hellfire shot straight into the clouds from the western side of the island, radiating scorching heat.

At that moment, the snow stopped falling. The wind died. The entire island seemed to hold its breath — nothing existed except that towering flame.

"What the—?!"

Doflamingo sensed a terrifying presence approaching at terrifying speed. Years of battle instinct caused his body to instinctively erupt with Conqueror's Haki for defense.

But it was too late.

BOOM—!

The supposedly indestructible Birdcage was effortlessly torn apart by the flames, as easily as ripping paper.

The blazing fire then exploded in the sky, raining countless heavenly flames across the island and swallowing everything in an instant.

The tyrannical heat melted the thick ice and snow in seconds, turning the landscape into a breathtaking yet apocalyptic sight.

Even the Ope Ope no Mi in Doflamingo's hand was swept away by the sudden inferno.

Seeing this, Doflamingo's veins bulged on his forehead as his body trembled with rage.

"Damn it! My fruit! What kind of monster could unleash an attack like this?!"

He had victory within his grasp, yet the fruit had been stolen, the Birdcage destroyed, and Vice Admiral Tsuru's Marines were surely heading to the island now — along with this mysterious powerhouse.

All these factors pushed Doflamingo to the brink of fury, but he had no choice.

"Retreat!" he snarled to the other Donquixote Family members.

Out at sea, the Marines were also drawn by the colossal flame.

"I didn't expect Doflamingo to move so quickly! Plans have changed — land on the island immediately! And stay alert… there may be another force involved."

Vice Admiral Tsuru stared at the terrifying display with a grim expression. The importance of the Ope Ope no Mi could not be overstated.

Meanwhile, in a remote, deserted corner of the island…

Roya, who had just transmigrated into the One Piece world, sheathed Ryūjin Jakka. He caught the Ope Ope no Mi that had been carried over by the flames, and the corner of his mouth curled upward.

"So this is the sign-in reward? It really is ridiculously strong."

Roya grew even more excited about the prospect of future location rewards.

At that moment, a small figure entered his view.

As a transmigrator, Roya instantly recognized the boy — Trafalgar Law!

One of the future Warlords of the Sea. He never expected to encounter him here.

Law watched Roya cautiously. Under Corazon's protection, he had barely escaped to this spot, only to witness this man shatter the Birdcage with a single strike.

This powerful stranger… maybe he could save Corazon!

Fear lingered in Law's heart, but thinking of Corazon's dire situation, he steeled himself and walked toward Roya.

"Um… please… please help me! Help me save Corazon!"

Law's voice started small, but thinking of Corazon, he gathered his courage and shouted.

Roya simply walked past him, treating the boy like air.

Not giving up, Law ran after him again and begged, "Please! Save Corazon! He's a good person — he's incredibly important to me!"

"As long as you save him, I'll do anything! I'll give you everything I have! Please help me… I really can't lose him!"

At that moment, Roya tossed the Ope Ope no Mi over. It lightly bonked Law on the head and fell to the ground.

Law's eyes lit up with hope as he stared at the heart-shaped fruit. With trembling hands, he picked it up and cradled it carefully.

Roya's voice drifted back from a distance:

"Use your own power to save the person most important to you."

Hearing those words, Law wiped away the tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

In his heart, he swore: One day, I will follow this man.

Because without him, he would have lost the most important person in his life.

Corazon had used the Ope Ope no Mi to give Law the hope of life. Now, Law would use it to give Corazon the miracle of life.

Not a bad loop, Roya thought with a faint smile.

By the time Law looked up again, Roya had already vanished from the island, as if he had never been there at all…
