Chapter 60 - Destroying Megumi's Shikigami

The accountability letters from the Higher-Ups arrived at Jujutsu High the next day. Shin, Masamichi, and Yuji each received one, but Shin didn't even bother to look at his before setting it on fire and tossing it aside.

He was very busy now, Megumi had asked him for help with training. After facing Kenjaku, Megumi had realized that although his Shikigami were numerous and capable, they were useless against top-tier combatants. Therefore, he asked Shin to destroy all of his Shikigami.

Divine Dog: Totality!

Nue!

Toad!

Max Elephant!

Tiger Funeral!

Round Deer!

Rabbit Escape!

Piercing Ox!

Excluding the Great Serpent that had long been destroyed and the untamed Mahoraga, all of Megumi's existing Shikigami, except for the indestructible Rabbit Escape, were ruthlessly shattered by Shin.

Seeing his Shikigami die one by one, Megumi couldn't help but clench his fists.

"Sorry. I'm just sacrificing you to increase my strength. I really am such a selfish person."

The power of the dead Shikigami would merge back into Megumi's shadows. Now, Megumi could no longer summon them individually. He could only fuse two or more Shikigami together to create new ones.

Or, he could apply the Shikigami's power to his own body. For example, he could imbue his fist with the power of Piercing Ox when punching, or use the power of Max Elephant to fire a high-pressure water jet.

Rabbit Escape was the ultimate vessel within the Ten Shadows Technique, specifically used to bear the burden of other Shikigami that had been completely destroyed.

Although Rabbit Escape had little use in battle other than using its sheer numbers to obscure the enemy's vision, it possessed one attribute, it could never be completely destroyed. It could serve as a vessel for power infinitely, having a few destroyed had no impact.

"Ten Shadows Technique... what a perfect Cursed Technique. Eight Shikigami used for combat, each possessing powerful senses of smell, sharp claws and fangs, flight capabilities, methods to bind enemies, long-range attacks, immense strength, and recovery abilities, and there's even a Shikigami dedicated to serving as a vessel."

"Is the final form a nearly omnipotent Shikigami and a Shikigami that can adapt to all things... or is it that these two are also destroyed to perform a final fusion?"

After his Shikigami were destroyed, Megumi went off to the side to familiarize himself with his new power, while Shin went to the back mountain alone and spent a long time building several experience farms for Allays and Silverfish.

The reason he hadn't built them before was, first, because constantly swinging a sword was very tiring.

Second, the experience points gained weren't particularly impressive.

And third, Shin previously lacked a sense of crisis and didn't want to expend the effort to grind for experience points.

However, now that Kenjaku had begun large-scale operations and Sukuna had detached from Yuji's body, the situation had become somewhat uncontrollable, forcing him to start grinding for experience.

"Can I only grind fifty levels in an hour? Killing a single ordinary Special Grade Cursed Spirit gives me forty or fifty levels."

However, Special Grade Cursed Spirits weren't that easy to encounter, whereas grinding for experience was different.

"Let's try using a Command Block."

/kill all silverfish

/experience auto-collect and store

Shin used his Maximum Technique to create a chest imbued with the [Store Experience] ability, placed it next to the experience farm, and then calculated the input and output.

Semi-automatic with fifty levels per hour versus fully automatic with five levels per hour? Then obviously fully automatic it is.

As long as he built a few more experience farms, the hourly income would be quite substantial. No sooner said than done, Shin quickly built ten experience farms on the back mountain and then left.

On the way back, he saw Junpei training alone. Lacking an Innate Cursed Technique, he had already fallen far behind. He knew this himself, so he wanted to learn from Mei Mei to train his physical combat skills.

'At least let me narrow the distance between me and them... at least let me barely be able to see their backs.'

Shin took out a Command Block and pondered.

'Assign Cursed Technique... There's no reason I can't do what Kenjaku could do using Mahito's Cursed Technique. But before that, I'd better experiment first. Attack non-sorcerers? That seems to violate the rules of the Jujutsu World.'

However, Shin still found Satoru and discussed it with him.

"No problem. As long as you don't let the Higher-Ups find out, it's fine. But you can only use those who have committed heinous crimes for the experiment. Anyway, you don't need that many people, right?"

The next day, Satoru personally arranged for servants from the Gojo clan to bring several heinous criminals from prison. He and Shin arrived together at an unmanned abandoned factory.

Shin put down the Command Block and gave an order to only one of them.

/Randomly assign Cursed Technique

"Argh! Ahhh!!!"

The man in front of Shin suddenly felt a splitting headache, as if someone were constantly cutting into his brain with a knife. But after the pain, he suddenly discovered a surge of power flowing within his body.

Satoru scanned him with his Six Eyes and nodded at Shin.

/Deprive Cursed Technique

After another burst of screams, the man's Cursed Technique was stripped away. Along with the Cursed Technique, his life also dissipated.

/Respawn in place

The man lying on the ground gradually turned into white particles and soon reappeared.

Satoru observed him for a moment and said to Shin, "The Cursed Technique didn't disappear. It's likely already bound to his life. Losing the Cursed Technique results in immediate death, and respawning brings the Cursed Technique back with him."

Shin took out a trident, stabbed him to death, and turned his gaze to another person.

'Does assigning a Cursed Technique randomly cost fifty levels of experience? Deprivation costs the same level.'

/Assign Six Eyes and Limitless

Nothing happened after the command was issued, it seemed like there wasn't enough experience.

/Assign Blood Manipulation

After issuing this command, Shin suddenly widened his eyes. The five or six hundred levels of experience collected over the eleven or twelve hours from yesterday to today were drained, and another two or three hundred levels were deducted from Shin, making his heart ache with a sudden spasm.

'Fortunately, the experience farms will be able to fully recover this amount in less than a day.'
