FERRIX
Iron Warriors — Fourth Legion
Full Designation Ferrix Legion IV Legion — Iron Warriors Former Role Legion Commander (Unification-era peer of Matthias) Current Role Senior Champion / Veteran Commander Status Active
Physical Description: Ferrix is enormous even by Astartes standards — fitted with bespoke Tyrant Terminator Armour scaled to a frame that rivals a Primarch in sheer bulk. His primary weapon is a powered gauntlet described as larger than a Dreadnought siege-hammer, complemented by a thermal/melta cannon of equivalent scale.
Personality: Blunt and laconic to the point of rudeness. Despises wasted words. Has genuine pride in the Fourth Legion's advancement under Perturabo, which he expresses through quiet satisfaction rather than boasting. Holds former Unification-era peers to a standard and is clearly disappointed that so many have stagnated. Carries an undertow of restraint — he is aware of how much stronger he is, and chooses not to embarrass people any more than necessary.
Combat Ability: Exceptionally lethal in close quarters. Caught Matthias's power-sword thrust barehanded. A single restrained blow caused internal organ trauma in a Space Marine commander. Sigismund — himself the finest blade of the Imperial Fists — assessed the outcome as decided before the first blow landed. In Terminator armour, Ferrix can still outpace a charging Astartes on foot if he chooses.
DANTIOCH
Iron Warriors — Fourth Legion
Full Designation Barabbas Dantioch Legion IV Legion — Iron Warriors Former Role Senior Commander, veteran of multiple campaigns; experienced chief engineer and project foreman Current Role Chief Reconstruction Architect of Terra Status Active
Personality: Profoundly pragmatic. His approach to the Administratum reform scene is clinical — he explains the problem with precise statistics, lays out the solution with equal precision, and when faced with resistance, has it removed. He is not cruel for the sake of it; he simply treats obstruction as a variable to be eliminated. Carries a deep sense of personal responsibility — the weight of Terra's reconstruction is something he takes entirely on himself, framing failure as a humiliation of his father and Legion.
He shows an unexpectedly human side when dealing with the Thunder Warriors — genuinely trying to find a dignified solution for veterans who have been discarded by history.
Also has an aesthetic sensibility: adds decorative elements to the reconstruction that his fellow Iron Warriors find embarrassing but that he judges necessary for Terra's prestige. Finds a pragmatic middle ground between Olympian austerity and Imperial grandeur.
BEROSSUS
Iron Warriors — Fourth Legion
Full Designation Berossus Legion IV Legion — Iron Warriors Role Senior Veteran;
Personality: Berossus's primary role here is reactive — his alarm at Dantioch's stepping forward is the clearest indicator that Dantioch is doing something the group considers genuinely dangerous. Steady, measured, and clearly accustomed to watching the others' backs.
