Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Awakening With Power

Caius's eyes snapped open. The world felt sharper, brighter, and alive in a way he had never noticed. The hospital ceiling above him glowed sterile white, but he wasn't afraid. Pain was muted and confusion was replaced with clarity. Something inside him hummed, a voice, mechanical but confident, whispering in his mind.

"Welcome, Caius. Weakness removed. Dominion System Activated."

He flexed his hands slowly and felt a surge of energy coursing through him. Looking down, his body, his old, bullied, awkward frame had shifted. Broad shoulders, lean muscle, perfect posture. His reflection in the stainless steel tray caught his attention: sharp jawline, piercing eyes, an allure that made even the nurse in the corner blush as she adjusted her clipboard.

A thrill ran through him, finally…power. Absolute power. Not just over his own body, but over the room, the people around him, and soon… the world.

The first test came sooner than expected. A familiar classmate, Lila, one of the girls who had ignored him, even teased him relentlessly, casually approached his bedside, her expression a mix of curiosity and something else… something electric. Caius could feel it. His new system buzzed with points: Charm +5. Attention +3.

"Uh… Caius?" she said, her voice slightly trembling. "I… I didn't know you were awake."

He smiled, slow, confident, letting his eyes linger on hers. The effect was instantaneous. Her knees nearly gave out. "You… you look different," she murmured.

"I feel different too," he replied, letting his voice drop into a low, commanding register. It was enough to make the air between them heavy, charged. His system chimed again: Seduction potential unlocked.

Even as she fumbled her words, he noticed the nurses giving him furtive glances. The Dominion System had already begun working its magic, he was magnetic, irresistible even.

Hours passed. Visitors came and went. Friends, teachers, even some bullies. Each interaction was a test, a chance to accumulate points, to build skill cards, to assert dominance. Every glance, touch, and word carried tension, whether heavy or sweet. Caius could feel the system mapping desires, weaknesses, and opportunities with flawless precision.

By evening, the first of many temptations arrived. One of his friends, Brandon, had always been shy, nerdy, but tonight he lingered a little too close, eyes drawn to Caius's confidence. Another friend of his, Jason, kept brushing past him in the hallway, and his friend Ehren's gaze lingered too long, admiration mixing with a quiet, unspoken hunger.

Caius smirked. Dominion System wasn't just about revenge. It was about attraction, control, and the intoxicating pull of power. He could see the tension building in everyone around him, the subtle touches, the shy glances, the almost-accidental brushes that left hearts racing and pulses high.

"Looks like I've got some catching up to do," he muttered, his new voice smooth, confident, dripping with authority. He flexed his fingers and smiled, already feeling the thrill of what was coming, not just revenge, but conquest.

Because now, Caius was no longer the weakling everybody was accustomed too. He was the master of attention, the manipulator of desire, the man everyone would notice and very soon obey.

The first steps of his dominion had begun. And this was only the beginning.
