Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 Tang San's Scene.

It wasn't that the gatekeeper was stupid; it's just that such forged documents had indeed happened before, with people trying to enter the Soul Master Academy as work-study students.

The reason was simple: even work-study students earned more than working in the fields.

Driven by this profit, they were naturally willing to take the risk.

  Old Jack quickly smiled obsequiously,

"Young brother, we're from Holy Soul Village. This child is our village's work-study student this year. Look, it even has Master Su Yuntao's seal!"

He then handed over the certificate issued by the Spirit Hall.

However, after reading it, the gatekeeper laughed even harder, shouting to the surrounding onlookers,

"Everyone, look! Blue Silver Grass actually has soul power! It even says 'innate full soul power'! I've been a gatekeeper for so long, and I've never seen anything like it!"

He then threw the certificate on the ground and

stomped on it a few times.

Yun Feng frowned, not out of sympathy for Tang San and Old Jack, since they were strangers,

  but out of confusion.

Locke, as if sensing Yun Feng's confusion, spoke directly:

"Xiao Feng, do you think this doorman is too arrogant?"

Yun Feng nodded truthfully, following his own thoughts.

He genuinely wanted to know why such an idiotic person would appear.

  Locke slowly explained:

"Xiao Feng, let me ask you a question. What do you think of human nature?"

  Yun Feng immediately understood.

People only accept what they see, especially when faced with something weaker than themselves. Even if the other party is right, they will subconsciously ignore it.

Seeing Yun Feng's thoughtful expression, Locke continued:

"That's just how it is. When an ordinary person gains a little power, they will make things difficult for others to the greatest extent possible within their authority. That's part of human nature."

"Furthermore, why do you think an ordinary person with absolutely no soul power cultivation can come to the Soul Master Academy as a doorman? What does that represent?"

As the saying goes, old people are wise!

  His words enlightened Yun Feng.

This had nothing to do with intelligence, but simply a matter of experience.

Yun Feng hadn't considered that possibility before, but now he understood completely.

Ultimately, it was because the gatekeeper didn't believe a boy with the Blue Silver Grass spirit could threaten him, so he was venting his usual subservient emotions.

That's the point of saying kids are hard to deal with.

  "I understand, thank you, Grandpa."

Seeing that Yun Feng understood, Locke smiled slightly and said to him,

"Let's go, let's get this out of the way."

The gatekeeper's insults at the academy gate were getting increasingly vulgar.

Tang San's anger was completely ignited.

He raised his left hand, grabbed the gatekeeper's arm, and pushed the gatekeeper's left hand away with a forceful push to the right. At the same time, his slender figure quickly stepped forward with his right foot, landing precisely behind the gatekeeper's left foot. Simultaneously, he raised his right hand, and together with his left, clamped the gatekeeper's hand down.

This palm strike was originally intended to strike the opponent's left forearm, rendering him unable to exert force. However, the person executing the strike was rather short, so he could only grab the gatekeeper's wrist. His movements were extremely fast; he leaned forward simultaneously, pushing forward with both hands as he shook off the gatekeeper's left hand. The

blow landed squarely on the gatekeeper's lower abdomen.

An extra foot appeared behind the gatekeeper's left foot; although the foot wasn't large, it was enough to achieve the intended effect. The force on his abdomen and the tripping caused him to fall to the ground with a thud.

Humiliated by this, and seeing that his opponent was just a child, the gatekeeper immediately got up.

Seeing this, Tang San slowly raised his left arm, arching his sleeve with his wrist, then quickly pressed it down, his five fingers instantly straightening.

Especially the glint of cold light flashing from Tang San's sleeve, which stunned Yun Feng.

Tang San's left arm was aimed at the gatekeeper's neck.

  What could Yun Feng say?

Tang San's murderous intent was completely disproportionate to his intelligence!

This was a city! To kill someone in public—did he really think the Heaven Dou Empire's garrison and the Spirit Hall's enforcement team were joking?

If he confessed, it would be fine, since the gatekeeper had provoked him first. But if he didn't confess, given Tang San's personality, those who came to arrest him would likely be killed by his schemes.

And then, even with Tang Hao's protection,

  what about Holy Soul Village?

Tang San was wanted, but Old Jack couldn't escape. His whole family lived in Holy Soul Village. To put it bluntly, if it weren't for Old Jack's continued financial support, Tang San might have starved to death as a child.

And wasn't Tang San supposed to be an assassin?

Where did his stealthy assassination skills go?

Wouldn't it be much better to act at night than during the day?

So, with hidden weapons, Tang San has become a berserker!

Even the Assassin's Creed would need him as its spokesperson.

As long as he kills everyone, no one will know he's an assassin.

Yun Feng found this hard to understand.

However, he didn't care much; Tang San's well-being was irrelevant to him.

But he still hoped Tang San wouldn't ruin his plan.

After all, the most important step in Yun Feng's plan was to steal the Blue Silver Emperor's soul bone and see if he could absorb its life force

  to strengthen his own foundation!

If Tang San killed someone, and Tang Hao rescued him, attracting the attention of the Spirit Hall, and

Tang Hao took Tang San into the mountains, then Yun Feng's plan would have to be postponed indefinitely.

He didn't want to miss this golden age of cultivation!

After being knocked to the ground by Tang San, the gatekeeper immediately felt a loss of face.

"You brat, you're asking for death!"

Enraged, the gatekeeper got up and charged at Tang San.

Under Yun Feng's gaze, the killing intent in Tang San's eyes gradually intensified.

Just as Tang San was about to pull the trigger...

A slightly hoarse voice rang out, stopping the gatekeeper's actions and startling Tang San.

  "Alright, stop."

The gatekeeper was stunned for a moment, then his anger instantly transformed into obsequiousness, a change so swift it was unimaginable. He bowed and scraped to the newcomer, saying,

  "Master, you're back."

Tang San turned his head and saw a man of medium build, slightly thin, who had somehow appeared beside them.

He looked to be about forty or fifty years old, with short black hair parted in a 3/7 ratio. His appearance was quite ordinary, his hands behind his back, yet he possessed a unique aura, his eyes displaying a hint of laziness and decadence.

Yun Feng was almost speechless at the sight.

"Is another memorable scene about to unfold?"

At this moment, Yun Feng and Locke arrived at the academy's gate.

Locke looked at Yun Feng, thought for a moment, and then whispered,

"Little Feng, you can ask this man some questions about martial souls when you have time, but don't believe anything else."

Hearing this, Yun Feng looked at Locke with surprise.

I didn't expect Yu Xiaogang's reputation to be so low?

It seems the original work held back some details!
