The test was finally over!
I have an aptitude and it's a 10th Grade Spirit Root!
I can finally cultivate.
Out of the 60 children who took the test, only 3 had a spirit root, including me.
The other two were the village chief's son, Zhao Feng, who had a 12th Grade Spirit Root, and a girl named Ruan Mei, who has an 11th Grade Spirit Root.
I was really proud, as my aptitude is the highest. I saw the other kids crying while looking at me enviously.
I just shook my head while looking at them and contemplated how hard and unfair the path to immortality is.
Master Liang told us to have a final goodbye with our parents because tomorrow we will leave the village and depart to the world of immortals.
This is probably the last time I will see my parents and siblings.
