Kevin's POV.
If he had known any better, he would have kept his thoughts to himself. Guess the elders weren't as wise as they thought either, they were a bunch of wannabes with influence and grey hairs at most.
"You are itching for some trouble, huh?" I thundered, storming right in his direction as he scurried back in fear seeking for help, but nobody could help him. The elders were too scared to speak up for him.
I reached for his neck to raise him up and watch him beg for his life, but a voice behind me, bold and sonorous, made me stop.
"This is not the time to fight amongst ourselves!"
I took a deep breath, turning in the direction of the sound. The elder stood with both hands crossed, his shoulders slouched making his posture look like he had a hunchback. His eyes were dead cold and expressionless.
