ELARA'S POV.
"We had background checks on every worker in this corporation, you included. I just never thought it would get to this." Raya yawned. "The lady in the picture is rumoured to be Blossom, right? If I kill her and it's not enough to get you to submit, I'll move on to your ex then the cycle continues until I finally get to you."
I staggered to my feet, shaking my head in unbelief. How could she be so heartless? Why was she being this way to me?
"You are despicable," I cussed.
"Careful with that tone, lady. You just might tick me off," she laughed like a maniac and heaved a sigh.
"Elara," her voice softened almost immediately. "Don't you see what we are doing here? We are defying the laws of physics here, the laws of nature and everything we've come to understand and think is impossible to obtain."
"I'm not going to stop until I get to my limit and I'll push past it," she continued.
