The group returned to the safe zone and ran into Bruce, who was on night watch duty.
Flora Bloom wasn't familiar with the other teams in the base. But in her own team, someone was always assigned to stand guard in the villa area where her members lived.
This was their rule.
No matter how safe the base was, they couldn't afford to let their guard down.
"Bruce, take these people to get registered. Level, name, age, and special skills—don't miss a single detail. Then tomorrow morning, you can assign them as needed."
Bruce received Flora Bloom's order and respectfully agreed. He was about to lead the group to the registration office when Chelsea Todd refused.
"Wait, why do I have to go? It's not like I haven't been here before. I don't need to register!"
Bruce glanced at Flora Bloom, looking troubled. He then mustered his courage and said, "If you don't register, you leave the base!"
This single sentence shut up many of the others who were about to complain.
