Flora Bloom cradled the Golden Crow Egg, walking side-by-side with Lex Cross through a world of fiery lava. Protected by the Golden Crow's energy shield, they didn't even feel a hint of the heat.
All the Fire Element Energy was being slowly absorbed by the shield and funneled into the egg in Flora Bloom's arms.
"Huh? According to my spatial sense, the Fire Element Crystal Stone should be right around here. But where is it?"
Suddenly, the Golden Crow Egg in Flora Bloom's arms began to stir restlessly. If she hadn't been holding it tight, it probably would have flown right out of her grasp.
"Eat, eat."
A delicate, childish voice, like that of an infant, came from her arms. Listening closely, she realized the sound was coming from inside the Golden Crow Egg.
Before Flora Bloom could fully react, the Golden Crow Egg suddenly shot up, hovering above their heads. The energy shield moved with it, shifting into mid-air.
