'Hunter Night seems pretty reasonable.'
After some thought, Stella Sterling decided to give him a piece of advice.
'It's unnecessary to take everything. There's no need to offend those people. Otherwise, it wouldn't do the Three Tigers Corps any good after I eventually leave.'
'But at a time like this, you can't let others think you're a pushover.'
'When you clearly have the upper hand, you have to act like it.'
'If you're still as accommodating as before, people will just look down on you even more.'
Hunter Night froze for a second or two when he heard her words, but then he understood what Stella Sterling meant.
He let out a low, pleased chuckle. "Miss Sterling is right. I understand!"
Stella Sterling tilted her head but said no more. She was confident Hunter Night would understand.
After all, the man had managed to lead his people and make a name for himself here in Sanctyr Base. He was clearly capable, so she didn't need to worry too much.
