The Teleportation had gone so smoothly before, and she was so used to this method of travel in the game, that Renee Kane had unconsciously overlooked this slight anomaly.
After all, her initial understanding of Raloa Island was that she could go there after meeting certain conditions.
But she had thought "going there" meant breaking through some kind of barrier, like transitioning from a 2D world to a 3D one.
