Renee Kane stared at the shadowy mass for a long time. Only after confirming that it wasn't getting back up did she let out a small sigh of relief.

Before leaving the balcony, Renee Kane took another long look at the moon hanging high in the sky.
The sky, obscured by vast swaths of inky blackness, didn't actually have many clouds. They were mostly concentrated around the moon, which was what created the illusion of an eye.
But staring at the moon for too long still gave Renee Kane an uncomfortable feeling.
It felt as if someone was spying on her through the moon.
'Too bad I can't just shoot down the moon. I should just wash up and go to bed.'
