The next day, Renee Kane woke up and instinctively checked the situation outside the safe house, only to find that the once-dense swarm of threadworms had disappeared at some point.
She cautiously panned the camera around but was stunned to find not a single threadworm.
Opening the chat hall, she saw many people discussing how they hadn't dared to sleep the entire previous night, terrified of being swarmed by threadworms. But the night had passed peacefully, and they hadn't even used the saltwater they'd prepared, which felt strangely unsettling.
But after what happened to Bloodstain the day before, which was still fresh in everyone's minds, no one was stupid enough to say they wanted to return the saltwater or anything like that.
They didn't know what the next dungeon's setting would be or how long they'd have to stay there. Salt was something that would always be useful to have.
