Perhaps The Frigid World, as a newly discovered realm, was truly fascinating. Even though Faye Yardley and her two companions visited it for three consecutive days, the Smoke Person didn't find their behavior the least bit strange.
However, on their third night at the inn, they unexpectedly ran into Logan Langdon and his women. To make matters worse, their suite was right across from her room.
"Gorgeous Yardley, what a coincidence."
"It really is. I didn't expect Mr. Langdon to visit Nightfall Citadel."
Logan maintained a polite and proper smile. "Nightfall Citadel is such a fun place; once you visit, you never forget it. Otherwise, why would Gorgeous Yardley be here?"
"Have a good time. I won't disturb you," Faye answered with a noncommittal hum. With a wave of her hand, she opened her door and stepped inside, shutting it behind her with a loud SLAM.
Bella's face practically screamed that she was curious and had a million questions, but Faye completely ignored her.
