After dinner, she went into the training room again. But today was strange. It was already 9:42 PM, and the sun should have set long ago. Yet, it was as if time had stood still—the sky remained bright.
The heat hadn't noticeably dropped from daytime levels; in fact, she could barely feel any difference.
'How strange. Is the day supposed to be this abnormal?'
After showering, she checked the messages on the public channel and discovered that people were starting to experience different things.
Some, like her, were still experiencing daylight, with bright skies. Others had already transitioned into a normal night.
Moreover, it seemed more people had transitioned into a normal night.
'Strange. Is the System splitting people into groups again?'
Faye Yardley opened her small group chat and asked, "@Leo Sloan, Mr. Sloan, has it gotten dark on your end yet?"
Evidently, everyone was still relaxing at this hour, or at least paying attention to the chat screen.
