Faye Yardley grew tense as she watched the puppy and the two-headed snake about to reach the door. The snake likely had a psychic superpower, because she constantly felt a spiritual power probing her mind, trying to smash through her mental barrier.
If her Spirit wasn't already at 19 points, she might have been controlled by the snake before it even came through the door.
