The abandoned shopping mall was filled with the mixed stench of dust and mildew.

"Dammit, can't even find a decent smoke in this hellhole!" a young man with blond hair irritably kicked a plastic mannequin at his feet.
Another man, a scrawny guy with a scar on his face, patted his shoulder. "We just got here, and you're already looking for cigarettes? Anything in plain sight would've been snatched up long ago."
After they had searched the mall for a while longer, the scrawny, scarred man sidled up to Peter Cameron and lowered his voice, his eyes glinting lecherously. "Cameron, that chick Jane Alden who lives in our building... she's quite a looker. The boys have been pent up for so long, when can we..." He rubbed his hands together, a vulgar grin spreading across his face.
