Jude Sheffield's expression flickered for only an instant. He then shook his head blankly. "Don't know him. I only know *of* a Jude Sheffield."
He then hesitated deliberately before speaking. "I can help you get him, but you'll have to give me food."
In this apocalyptic world, they had seen far too many people like him, so they didn't suspect a thing.
Landon Hughes nodded. "Alright. Bring him to me, and I'll give you a box of crackers."
Jude Sheffield's face lit up with elation. "A whole box?"
"That's right," Joel Joyce confirmed with a nod. "So go find Jude Sheffield. You'll get your reward when you do."
"Alright, alright, I'm on my way." Jude Sheffield, looking overjoyed, spun around and hurried off.
But as he walked, the smile on his face gradually disappeared.
'These people look well-off. They seem to be superpower users. I wonder if they're enemies of my sister.'
'Either way, I have to find my sister first and tell her what's happening.'
