Charlotte Morgan felt incredibly conflicted.
She knew she couldn't entirely blame Sierra Sullivan and Jayce for this.
Even if they had chosen either the Vance or Hughes Family, they would have inevitably offended the other. At best, the situation would only be marginally better than it was now.
But... logic was one thing, and feelings were another.
'It's all because Sierra Sullivan and Jayce are just too powerful.'
'Their Superpowers are so strong, yet they didn't join the official authorities sooner.'
'If they had just joined up earlier, none of this would be happening!'
The more she thought about it, the more resentful her expression grew.
The resentment was so thick it was almost tangible.
Sierra Sullivan couldn't ignore it even if she wanted to.
"Charlotte," Sierra Sullivan said, looking over at her. "Actually, there is another solution to this."
"What is it?" Charlotte Morgan asked quickly.
'There's another way out of this?'
