"Who said it'd be a hassle!" Jayce lifted his chin. "My old man has his status. What's wrong with him helping his daughter-in-law keep an apartment? You've got connections and you're not using them. Are you stupid?"
"You're the stupid one!"
Sierra Sullivan's cheeks grew warm, and she shot him a glare.
'Daughter-in-law?'
'Since when was I his wife?'
"The base was just established, so everything is still chaotic. We can't give anyone leverage over us for something like this. Besides, you know nothing about the supplies I have! Today, you're going to see for yourself!"
As she spoke, Sierra took Jayce's hand.
'I might as well see if I can bring Jayce into the space.'
In the next instant, they both appeared inside the space.
Seeing Jayce standing beside her, Sierra finally breathed a sigh of relief.
'Good, Jayce can get in!'
'From now on, I can leave the farming to Jayce!'
Jayce, completely unaware of what Sierra was thinking, curiously looked at his surroundings.
