In the sprawling, magic-infused realm of Goldinfüld, the legend of the Three Great Protectors is more than just a tale; it's a cyclical burden. 4990 years ago, a devastating Evil Essence ravaged the land, only to be sealed away by three legendary heroes at the cost of their lives. But this wasn't the first time. Unbeknownst to most, this cycle of cataclysm and temporary salvation has repeated ad infinitum through the ages, a grim prophecy always fulfilled, yet never truly broken.

Now, with the 5000-year mark looming and the ancient seals on the three containing orbs showing alarming signs of imminent collapse, the Goldinfüld Kingdom is in a desperate race against time. The royal seers have confirmed the prophecy: the Evil Essence will return, and only the Three Chosen, descendants of the original Protectors, can hope to confront it.

Two of the Chosen have been identified: Ivory and Vermilion, brothers of contrasting temperaments, have been brought to the capital for rigorous training. Ivory, the elder, is earnest and determined, embracing his destiny. Vermilion, however, is a brooding enigma, haunted by an unspoken melancholy that draws a curious, tight feeling in the chest of anyone who truly looks at him.

Their quest now leads them to find the third Chosen: Raven. Living far from the gilded cages of the capital, Raven is a solitary figure, perhaps unaware or dismissive of the grand lineage and the impending doom. Ivory and Vermilion must convince Raven to abandon their current life and return to the capital, for the ancient texts are clear: there have always been three heroes, they need Raven as much as Raven needs them, even if Raven doesn't know it yet.

As the ominous black cloud above the tomb of the first orb grows, a palpable sense of dread permeates the land. The Evil Essence's return is no longer a matter of "if," but "when." Amidst the urgency of their training and the looming threat, Raven finds themselves drawn to Vermilion's quiet intensity. What is this unsettling yet compelling pull? Is it just the pressure of their shared, ancient destiny, or something deeper, something that echoes through time? Will Raven agree to train with these two strangers and embrace a fate that seems both inevitable and unbearable? And do they have enough time to explore these burgeoning feelings, these connections that defy reason, before the ancient, repeating evil descends once more to plunge Goldinfüld into an unending darkness? The true challenge might not be just defeating the Evil Essence, but understanding and breaking the ad infinitum cycle itself.
